use nikwax on my stuff and then tumble on low heat. seem to work for 4/5 months then reproof again.
two washes and reproofing should see you through a winter.

As above try to keep it amicable and the csa out. Best solution.

Stop doing any overtime immediately until the csa have sorted any payments, then do as much as you want.
Never, ever, give the ex cash, keep it all traceable(standing orders/ bank transfers) to show the csa.
If you do sleep on a mates sofa get a rent book etc.(for show) to show your living expenses. Informal arrangements aren't acknowledged.
Keep all receipts, fuel/bus/train tickets when you go to meet the kids, and for anything like school uniforms/school trips that you pay for.

They'll re-evaluate your circumstances every two years. They'll demand to know what any future partners you live with earn, cheeky b*stards tried it with me saying my girlfriend could support me. If you don't know you can't tell them so that avenue was cut off for them to extort more money out of me. To this day, i still don't know what the, now wife earns although i have a ball park figure which i'm keeping to myself.

I hate the csa with a passion after the trouble/stress they gave me, but for some reason they have'nt been in touch with me for about 5 years. I'm not about to chase them up though and my ex hasn't come "cap in hand" so all status quo here at the moment.
That said, i'll bet i get a letter from them in the next week.

trans cambrian route (imba uk) will take you on minor roads and bridleways from Knighton to Mach so you just have to plan the hertford to knighton part.

I went north from Bristol to Stroud and pointed and laughed, the mrs followed suit on the way to the outlaws.
Drove back to bristol at 6.30, clear as anybody could ask for.
Sorry if it sound like i'm gloating, but why travel at a ridiculous time on a saturday (friday anytime after 2 pm is as bad) when every other family, in school holidays, are travelling to Devon and Cornwall.
    Doesn't make sense to me.
I also dread to think how full campsites are in the height of summer in the West Country.

i can see the point in having an uplift at fort bill where it'll be used nearly all year for ski/snowboard and mountainbikes but does inners have as much snow to justify having a mechanical lift? or has it a lack of snow all year?
when you look at places like les gets, chamonix, whistler etc they have snow for 5 months of the year and mtb's for 5 months with trail/lift maintenance happening the other 2 months.
i can't see the trails/runs being sustainable without MASSIVE investment above the cost of a mechanical lift.

Plenty of space in the garage downstairs and hosepipe by garage door.
    Breakfast was good.
We came in sodden and muddy one day and she took 5 sets of riding kit, washed and dried it ready for the next morning. Completely unexpected.
    Plenty of parking too.
She walks in the hills lots so has excellent local knowledge.
    Would happily stay there again.
Town centre is about ten mins walk away.
