Been using these for the last 10 or so years.
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/RapidTradeZone-Flashing-Safety-Blinkers-Batteries/dp/B006DDIOM4/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1442214850&sr=8-13&keywords=led+light+for+dog+collar
Usually last a couple or three years then we buy some more.
Obviously it hangs down so when the dogs running away from you it disappears but it illuminates the ground under his front legs so not totally invisible, as soo as he turns, instantly visible.
I must order some more for ourselves now we have another dog.

    Swimmers ear.
It’s an fungal infection of the ear drum, GP will give you antibiotics for it.

But fire regs are a bit funny…there are different requirements for different types of building and they are subject to interpretation by the local Fire Officer in a way that seems to be different to the other Approved Documents.

I work in the Bristol/Bath/W-S-M/Gloucester region and all fire officers/Building control officers say slightly different things. If one were to recommend a certain spec, you can guarantee another bod would say differently.
It’s incredibly frustrating as a contractor as they hate giving me a spec to work from.

No idea what running costs are now but not much.
When we bought it nearly 10 years ago we calculated that electricity would cost about 5p per day. As for the chemicals, I’ve bought them in bulk and they take ages to use up. Filters are expensive though. £30 ish per filter and ours has 4. One tip the installer gave us was to not to use the chemicals that are for cleaning the filters, just hose them down every month to get rid of debris/skin/hair/etc. I’ve only just in the last 3 months bought a replacement set for the originals.
At a guess, i’d say it costs about £1.20-£1.50 per week to maintain.
Theres a big 4/5 inch cover that we use to keep the heat in. We’ve had snow sat on the lid whilst its been switched on so thermal properties are pretty good.
Only gets drained 4 times a year then replaced with new. Chemicals(chlorine, alkalinity and scale)are used to kill off any bugs whilst its full.

Got a Hotspring Sovereign, had it about 9.5 years now.
Only had 2 small repairs done to it in that time.
    Very happy with it.
Get a tub that seats 2 more than you require, we looked at the four seaters and found that its very cramped when 4 people get in a 4 seat tub. 6 seats are far more relaxing to stretch out in.
Don’t normally use our jets as we like to sit and chat without any phone/tv/computer disturbances once the kids go to bed. However, some jets are better than others. The fixed ones are a bit mleh but the rotating ones give a type of massage.

You know that hot tub shops will let you “test drive” them. You might have an audience but it’s a lot of money to fork out without trying one out first.

Was thinking of a long weekend myself this summer from Cherbourg-Ouisterham and doing some wild camping on the way.

For balance, can the original poster please supply a link to the pro 30 mph petition?

I work all round Bristol at all times of day and it’s a right royal pain, driving whilst constantly on the look out for 20, 30 and 40 mph signs that are dotted around the place. It’s not a blanket 20 over the whole city which means if you want to obey the speed limit you’ve not got your eyes on the road at all times.
On my way from the centre of town I go through 6 different limits to get home.

Got a Weber Spirit 310 last week and its been great, no regrets.
    MiL has the same.
BiL is across from California atm, they do loads of BBQ cooking and they were impressed with the Spirit too.

I was given one on Friday evening by the wife.
It actually belongs to her boss but he got bored of it within a week and passed it around the office for people to try out.
Of the 4 wrists its been worn on so far, only one person has liked it.
I personally think its way overpriced for what it does and would never buy one but it’s been good to “test drive” one for a few days to see the limitations.

One guy was polishing hubs on a stand, not really a security risk i’d have thought, I may be wrong though.

The OP doesnt actually state what time he arrived at the door. If it was before ten then why? They knew the opening hours before they rocked up.

The sign outside says 10 am opening on a Wednesday.

The guy that was at the service desk/till yesterday has seen me but refuses to let me have it 30 minutes early.

There’s a clue there somewhere.

Every other day of the week is 9am just like when I dropped it off on Tuesday morning.

The owner had 3 different bike shops repossessed by the bank about 18 months ago due to lack of custom, has he not learnt anything from this mistake?
    Lost another customer today.

    It’s only a wafer lock.
Dead easy to take apart and rebuild although you may need new wafers depending on the profile of your existing key.

Shouldn’t be too hard to find out which riders went through the barrier as they’re all running gps’s.

Teams should face sanctions until all guilty riders handed over.

Cant work out whats hard to understand, copper says “don’t cross”, you don’t cross.
Barriers coming down, you don’t cross.

Doesn’t take a genius to work it out.

SNCF well within their rights to prosecute.

My lad done his first red route aged 3.5, he’s just about to turn 7 and I’ve never had so much as a grumble from anybody. Had smiles and encouragement from the last two riders that happened to come up behind us.
Couldn’t care less what somebody on a strava run thinks.

Got EHIC which covers 80% of the cost and the rest can be claimed on holiday insurance.

Had a big bang to the head which caused a small bleed to the brain.
It had to miss out on the last day of snowboarding, bit gutted but happy to be in good shape other than a small headache.
Could have been a whole lot worse if I didn’t have my helmet on.

Not allowed to ride my bike for another week or so though.

Springer thats had both legs operated on here.
The vet did warn us that the other cruciate would likely go sometime in the future as he would favour his good leg. Almost a year to the day we were back to the vets with his second cruciate injury.
Cost per leg was £2400 iirc.

For a nine year old dog he’s noticeably slower than our 11 month old springer but he’s still quick for an old boy.

There is a massive (and slightly confusing) choice of dynamo hubs and lights in Europe – why not simplify things for us all, choose just one or two good combinations and start stocking them as a package.

I got a hub/light package from Evans 14 months ago.
    Pay attention at the back.
    Very happy with it too.

    My parents still live there.
Was he flooded out 10 years ago?
I’ll ask my dad about him tomorrow, see if he remembers your uncle.
