M42 will be busy but there isn’t really another way

Shimano Deore are similarly priced at Merlin

I haven’t used Magura before but Deore brakes are very good value for money

Community wireless is probably the best option for rural customers
Have a look if their is a company operating in your area

Another option is if you have a friendly neighbour within a few km with good broadband speeds
you might be able to install a point to point link allowing you to share their broadband

+1 for Viewranger , frst started using it on a Nokia N95 and I have been able to transfer my original
maps over to the half a dozen phones I have owned since

    Viewranger ticks all the boxes

Route planning can be done either online using a PC or on the app itself

I’ve been using Viewranger for years and their customer service is really good , started on a Nokia N95 phone
and I’ve been able to port my maps over the the half a dozen phones I have had since for free

Merlin have extended their showroom recently so it might be worth visiting
Ribble cycles is only a couple of miles away but their shop only has a few bikes on show

For lunch this place is ok and is about 3 miles from Merlin

I would try some alternative cloning software

I use DD running from a ubuntu live cd

This command creates an exact copy of the drive so the new drive
needs to be bigger than the old drive

    sudo dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/sdd bs=8M

Warning ! if you get the drives the wrong way around you will wipe your data

use disk utility to identify your hdd and ssd id’s as they may be different than above, the hdd id replaces sda and the ssd id replaces sdd

If in doubt ask someone to check before pressing go

I like the idea of parking in lancashire and riding over on a bridleway

Does anyone have any good route ideas ?

Don’t worry about parking at Wembley , it’s right next to the tube station and I always park on the station
It’s actually cheaper than the Premier Inn and right across the road.

if you can’t get in the premier inn their is an ibis up the road which also has parking

Avoid quality inn at all costs though it’s a dump.

Opt back in to the European working time directive
You have of course opted out in the first place and it’s all signed and documented ?

Chrome remote desktop is the best option providing you can use chrome at work

If you must use RDP and don’t want to bother with dynamic dns services
install Dropbox on your home PC

Then from the dropbox website at work in Accounts – Security you can find your home external IP address and simply copy this into RDP and connect

Wembley is a good shout , couple of quid parking and tube/overland trains , it’s also fairly easy to get onto the M4 which you will probably take to Swansea.
Further afield Luton Parkway is another option , pay to park at the premier inn and get train into Kings Cross

    Chrome remote desktop

    Works flawlessly between mac’s , pc’s etc

Only problem is the remote mac would need to be signed into your google account which isn’t ideal
if you share bookmarks , browser history etc

love my saints , bashed a big rock the other day and expected
to see some damage but their isn’t a mark on them

Pins are too short by default though , removing the washer makes them stick out more

I haven’t felt the need to add extra ram so far
For your usage I would get the base model and extra ram later if required

I would probably take the opportunity to perform a clean install

Buy a USB caddy for £10 and put the old drive in there

You can then clean install onto the new HDD and load the files you need from the USB HDD

The best way down is known as the ice cream run , plenty of videos on youtube.
On the road just above the pidgeon tower keep going and bear left at the end of the road

Even though I live locally and have been up loads of times I still don’t know where the chinese gardens are !
