My Diverge happily handles 36mm Clement X’PLOR MSO tyres. I squeezed in some WTB Nanos (claimed 40mm, measured 38mm) but wasn’t confident in the clearance to ride it.

Don’t mistake them for fools. They will do quite nicely out of it. It’s those who voted out who are the fools.

@ElShalimo they’re Clement X’PLOR MSOs. 36mm (tight fit in the frame), tubeless setup. I got up and down everything, including stuff my mates using 40mm WTB tyres failed on. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough (except on mud). Even did some CyB on it in that configuration :)

You just need a speaker for your smartphone.

Far more versatile and you’ll never have the firmware issue

Sadly not true – iplayer just stopped working on iphone 4 for same reason. I’ve got a dedicated iphone 4 dock speaker thing that I’ve been using as an internet radio for years now rendered obsolete 8O

I hope some fruit. Berries, at least. I just tried the 100% chocolate. Now, I have my espresso unsweetened, but that choccy is incredible.

I thought iDave used legumes for carbs, so wasn’t ketogenic.

If a 130 then you’ll need to put the 2x bb spacers on the non drive side (and one drive side for shimano) to get good chainline. This will offset the cranks in the frame a little.

This’ll sort the chainline but won’t this give him a nasty q factor ?

    Black cars have more accidents

I bet this transfers to bikes.

Annual works xmas MTB ride tomorrow. Everyone brings leftover cake and we ride in big circles, returning to the cars to eat cake every lap, until we’re knackered and bloated.

Anyone been watching ‘The Big Fat Fix’ or either of the Cereal Killers films ?

It may be that the choices people face when in the supermarkets is as much of the problem.

Life got much worse on my 5 after update to 10.1. I changed the battery, using this and a toolkit.

Much to my surprise (I had to get pretty medieval with the battery to get it out – unlike the videos, mine was attached with double sided tape) it all works fine and the battery life is back to normal.

Update to 10.2 has gone fine.

    You’ve been bought it now

Thanks, though, this is for an unsealed old hub that needs regreasing frequently, so I’m sure I will take advantage of your recommendations.

@cp 1995 STX kit best Shimano ever made IMO. Dunno why they stopped making it.

Longside felling getting worse, and the trail getting worn in places. Couldn’t work out why, until overtaken by an E-bike today, clearly not limited, don’t know how many there are but explains ‘uphill braking bumps’!

The 9 speed lasting better than 8 speed is an interesting observation. Is it because the 8 speed stuff now available is really poor, but half decent 9 speed can still be got ?

I’d normally check Honest John, but his attitude to cyclists is a bit shite which has put me off his opinions. I suspect he also voted for Brexit.

Our ‘go-to for cars’ guy at work is a extreme Brexiter, I’m a rampant Bremainer. We don’t let that get in the way, nor should anyone else otherwise we really are in trouble.

Thought the A1 was an old Secteur frame.

My carbon came with an alternative hanger, which I haven’t used, but I can’t see how you’d use a 9mm qr without some very peculiar spacer arrangement. I thought the hanger was to allow use of a standard thru axle hub.

FWIW I like the wheels – light and tubeless ready. If you want to sell a set…

The sort of opposite of this would be ‘I could be friends with anyone who was of the same political persuasion’.
Which probably doesn’t hold true for many. Therefore, proof by contradiction that you can be friends with political mismatches ?

Well, as absolutely nothing has changed since then, we should clearly just carry on as is.

The intention was to bind the governments together such that there would be no more war in Europe.

I hope your optimism is justified and that my pessimism is wrong.

Tony Benn never fought. Healey, Heath etc actually saw action, as did my parents. All IN.

First one 1975. I remember it well, same arguments but with integrity and without the lies. And those that actually fought for the country voted IN.
