He’s telling them that if he’s chancellor he’ll let them screw the economy and walk off with taxpayers’ money again.

Doesn’t look like they bothered to invite anyone who was actually there. Plenty of good old men and women around who fought…

Problem is, it’s like the Khamer Rouge, you can’t contradict it else you’re out…

Yep, large bikes weigh much more. I weigh 225lbs, I’d be frightened to get on a modern light bike.

As said before, go to court and plead you need licence for your livelihood. The fine will go up but you’ll keep your licence. It’s up to you to make the financial cost/benefit analysis. When I had to do that it cost 60% of a month’s take home, but I kept my job.

Didn’t the Costa Concordia crash because the driver took it off auto to show a woman how big his dick was ? The sooner they take the steering wheels out of the cars the better.

Difference between a 40T and a 44T chain ring is pretty un-noticable really.

    Really ?

    Admittedly I’m a slow cadence type but I’d notice…

27 ? Just started getting going…35 to 45 were the best years, it takes that long to get properly strong.

BPW on a Trek 810 ? Rim brakes ? He won’t be a friend by the time you get back…

Yep, it’ll work fine. Still running 7 & 8 speed here on the mountain bikes.

Interesting (and great) news about the Petit Balcons no longer in the ban.

Outdoor pool down in Passy I believe.

IIRC, you’re limited to the ‘bike trails; July and August, so Holy Trail, Animal Park etc become out-of-bounds, as do the Petit and Grand Balcons. Still plenty to do though, and there’s a load of waymarked trails on the Vallorcine side into Switzerland.

All could have changed. Last there in 2010.

I still ride one of those Zaskars. Why would you want discs ? With a brace and ceramic rims the braking is as much as you need on the back (you are doing most on the front, aren’t you ?).

Hope closed disc on the front, on a Pace evo, in case you were wondering…

    ‘Global Ti’

I always thought it was ‘Glo Balti’ presumably due to a love of fluorescent Indian food. As a username it had always amused me for that reason…

If it’s both then that is proper clever – chapeau !

There’s a mad road sportive based around Morzine around second week in June. Morzine is lovely before the lifts open.

    @mikey74

I was wondering whether the one in the link was identical to the ones available in the 1990s.

I was worried by ‘Legends are left untouched…at most they are refined’ in the description. I’d like to know what ‘refined’ means, it’s usually a euphemism for ‘ruined’ (e.g. 6-sigma has been used, or they got some management consultants in – MBA= Masters of Bu99ering All)…

RM destroyed by a tory government to help private sector rivals shock !

Just like BR. Not quite so blatant, in the case of BR Ernest Marples was transport minister, and owned a corporation building motorways.

Vote tory, get shafted. At least with labour, they may use some lubricant…

There are real differences (unusual) and apparent difference (more usual) caused by hip rotation caused by tightness / looseness / something else.

Done many centuries, including 5 on consecutive days once. Ham sandwiches and cake work for me. Don’t skimp on the savory.

Also, if you’re going slower than normal you’ll be fine, except saddle ache !

This would be good on a sportive bike for after cake – anyone tried something like this on a 2×10 105 setup ?

Appendix holds onto bacteria to re-infect guts after D&V events. This bacteria can get over-excited, bursting appendix and owner. No successful mutation (yet) with competitive advantage.

This is an idea, not proven fact, but seems plausible.

Ventnor on the Isle of Wight?

Ventnor is lovely, but it’s also a massive climb out of there on a bike…
