I use semi fluid grease in my Pro 2’s. It stays runny, runs smooth and very quiet compared to a normal Pro 2.

Been using a Pendle for last 5 years, takes seconds to fit to car, and a few more seconds to drop bike in wheel slots, bungie crank arm to upright on Pendle. No frame contact and no damage to bike, simples 😉

NP Mega is superb with 150 forks (Rev Teams on mine, and I have tried it with Bos Deville 160’s)) and when you factor in the price, there’s not much to match it.

But I have also just built a Devinci Dixon… watch this space 😈

For that price it would be worth buying and get it custom tuned for your weight.

Whats your rebound like, are you using all or part of your available adjustment ? If you have plenty of clicks left, then viscosity can’t be far off. If you have used all of you rebound adjustment then a heavier weight oil is needed. You could also increase the lube oil level in the none damping leg, eg. in my Rev’s I have increased lube oil level from 5cc to 20cc. This gives less air volume in that leg, so ramps up pressure when compressed quicker and prevents diving into the travel as much. Also helps lubing the bushes, as more oil is splashing around.

Nitromors and a pair of latex (or similar) gloves, use an old credit card as a scraper to avoid damage/scratches. Scotchbrite (kitchen scourer) to get an even and keyed finish before laquering.

Google their number and ask them. I did this over some Hope hoops recently as Front pic showed std. Flow and rear pic showed Flow EX rim. The guy was very helpful and said both were EX Flows which they were when they came. They had just forgot to update a pic.

You CAN convert a pre EVO Hope hub to 142×12, you need the 12mm axle tube and two end caps, RRP £22 for the kit.

Had the same year estate, same problem, as well as the rear hatch opening itself multiple times. After speaking to a local VW specialist, they suggested it may be the rear hatch micro switch in the handle. This unit is a plastic moulding that also incorporates the rear number plate lights. I removed said unit which has a 4 pin plug connected that feeds the lights and micro switch. I cut away the plastic around the moulded in micro switch,. two thin steel strips went through the plastic moulding up to the micro switch. I cut them and soldered two wires to the micro switch contacts, then connected them to the plug direct. All my weird electrical problems stopped 😯

Yep, that bit of Mowgli woodwork would’nt look out of place in an art gallery. I’m sure if you put a few strings across it, it would sound great too 😀

I am on my 5th set of Hope Hoops, and although I have had none of those issues. When I took a rear wheel to Dave Garland (Stendec boss and Danny Hart mechanic) which was over 2 years old and untouched, but due to a hard landing, was a bit out of true. He was surprised at how tight the spoke tension was. To the point that he expected the hub to give up at some point 😯 .
