Why did you get rid of the comment features in a For sale ad?

I’ve not been on the bike for some time now. Work, life, and head has hampered what I enjoy somewhat.

But when the twins ask to go on a long “adventure ride”, then it’s impossible to say no.

Not epic or gnar ridden like some of the impressive rides on here. But I wouldn’t swap it…

I’m sure there’s lots of complications and it’s not as clear cut as we’d all like. As others have touched on, maybe 7Stanes is no longer and resources need to be put into 3Stanes. Championing Glentress, which was always the jewel in the crown.

Although it’s not what I think most on here would prefer to ride, maybe it’s the blue / red commercial trails that need sorted first. From spooky wood all the way down to the cafe. Linking the new “Worlds” trail. Bring in the people and slowly build from there. I’m sure more people would go if there was good news around trails fully open and it worth their trip to the centre.

I used to go more regularly but it seemed more justifiable going when you were almost guaranteed a day’s riding.

I imagine the closure of the Buzzards nest and the proximity impact has stopped those who liked to “session’ down from spooky woods.

Is GO Ape still closed? Another impact to revenue.

Would seem a waste with all the investment for the World’s to go to waste.

Merrell vapor glove. Period. Use them for travel (instead of sandal sometimes), bike packing, bothy / campsite shoe, to wear when I take spds off etc

We have an office in the Mill yard. Where I agree the cost / time will impact the small number of businesses, Parking is historically a nightmare. The car park size cant cope with the volume of businesses on site.

We all have to log our registration plates, along with any accounts / clients visiting. So maybe there will be an option to support actual custom to those that are consumer facing. The cameras were being installed today and go live by end of month.

I’ve an 21 plate Octavia IV and the infotainment system is a crock of sh!t. Turns off all the time. Been in umpteen times and still isn’t right.

A colleague had even more problems. Going into limp mode on the motorway and system shutting down. She eventually had hers taken back.

Wouldnt chose one myself now and don’t believe they are making the iv Octavia any more. Wonder why…. 🤔

This. My situation is very very similar. Added to by having moved south and not being familiar with the area. Sadly I think it’s starting to affect me. I know I need to break the cycle but it never seems to happen.

I use one of these. 2 Bikes alternating direction allowing for handlebars, so they stick out less. I take front wheel off each and they can hang in end of prongs. Then lean 2 alternating below.

Infotainment system is a joke. Mine has been in multiple times for system issues.
1st was due to loud bangs behind the dash. One time the info system froze and the car went into limp mode on the motorway. Had to restart car and had no system for a 400mile drive.
2nd issue the system pixilated after 20mins of driving
3rd time due to screen turning off regularly now
Due in again as I have an iV Estate and the manufacturer claimed distance in battery alone is circa 42 miles. Never had more than 35. Tops, using no other battery utilising features. Now lucky if I get 23 miles, which effects the overall efficiency.

Should’ve stuck with the Passat…

Crap comparison. At this level any of them should be able to do the courses on a HT. Hes braking earlier, going into corners slower, missing drops, taking wider & easier lines, the HT doesnt track as well etc etc. Still he should podium…. 🙄
