Undertaking? Prefer to call it maintaining the speed i’m doing in the lane i’m in (about 60/65 usually), lane one of most motorways is like a VIP lane these days.

Audi’s A3 promo – Everything you need nothing you don’t – really, then why has it got an entertainment system with handwriting recognition?

10 miles each way, why aren’t you riding it regularly already?! Used to do a 14 mile road commute on my 5 with high roller front, crossmark rear (2.35) occasionally so that I could go mountain biking after work, was a bit draggy and took a little while longer but made the daily commute tourer feel like a rocketship.

No joy here, no download notification and the click here link takes me to the frontpage of a games website or to a forbidden link. 🙁

Water usually. To all the hot chocolate/vodka/squash/energy drink users, how do you get the bladder and gubbins clean, specifically the bite valve and hose joints.

3/4 Bibs and get wet, then full length when its really cold.. I’d imagine waterproof trousers would make me too hot after a while.
    Don’t forget the overshoes!

Just about to finish ‘Do andriods dream of electric sheep’ – Philip K Dick, something I’ve been meaning to read for years, glad I did, and ‘We can remember it for you wholesale’ before that, great author, can see why so many of his books became films. Looking at ‘UBIK’ next.

Shouldn’t be anywhere near as bad as Swinley as they won’t have put the sand on the trails to reinforce it. Last couple of times I rode TORQ it was dry and very fine dirt, got quite loamy in places. It should cope quite well in the wet.

Had a friends Vizsla with us last time, dogs are fine on site.

Reading this thread, all I can see is that HGV’s are a necessary evil and no amount of blind spot mirrors are going to fix the current problems, so it’s the current design of the cab that doesn’t seem to work?!

    Legislation should be changed?

In Berkshire maybe of use on the trial front if you’re heading down the M4 anytime soon, got a Saris Bones for a Corrado with similar spoiler based fitting fun.

Yep, mines like that, I wasn’t too bothered about it really, but it’s not great is it.
Had to re-cut the thread on the hanger to put a derailleur on when i got mine too.

Pootle about at 60mph most places in a 2001 Passat TDI 130bhp, it’s just turned 153,000 miles, my overall average on the computer is 43mpg, so maybe mine needs some work other than the regular oil change.

Apple products are OK, the problem is iTunes, £&@# I hate iTunes, if you’re going to let it sync a current music collection or anything, make sure you have a backup.

Tyre logos, valves not lined up, pedals and cranks not level, wonky tree, otherwise a lovely bike. 😛 (did I miss anything?)

I’d also say Timbuk2, have a medium which has taken all kinds of abuse over a few years and is still in great condition.
Only problem is I could do with a pad for the strap and a new clippy reflective thing was nicked in a crowd, just like gravity dropper spares, you can only seem to get stuff from the states, which is a shame.

Flatmate has been unavailable for the past few days playing Assasins Creed 2.
Theres loads, have you played the Half Life series or Portal 2 yet?
As others have said Bioshock is brilliant too.

I really liked Mass Effect 2, played it through twice.

Really looking forward to Mass effect 3, got lots of study to do this year so that could hinder things when it comes out…

Big fan of the Bell Sweep, find it a great fit, comfy, light, looks alright and pop the peak off for the road look.
On my third, other two have taken a good wack and kept my head in one piece, half price replacement without issue.

But as with all lids, it comes down to the one that fits best.

Couple of friends have had bad experiences with them, and they charged me £189 for a chain, didn’t look at the receipt until I was on the train home, myself and shop assistant not paying attention then. I’ve had wheels built at Cyclezone in Crowthorne, they’ve been fine.

From playing about on friends phones was sold on a galaxy S2, the price on O2 (tied in as have broadband with them) was £100 on my contract a couple of weeks ago, went to order this week and found it’s gone up to £150, what?! Price of ALL hardware going up at the mo? Guessing they are made in Thailand. 🙁
