When did SRAM get bought out by Gillette?!

I’d like to see more work by the big two on a gearbox, preferably mounted in the BB.

Happy with 9speed for the forseeable.

Loved RC cars when I was younger.

    Had a Tamiya Blackfoot:

Then a second hand Schumacher Cougar 2 when I started racing and the monster truck turned out to be useless in a race!

Spent more time fixing the thing.

How long before the N+1 sets in with you single bike people?

Managed to get down to 3 mountain bikes (Please note that I put mountain bikes).

Was given ‘how to get stuff done’, got halfway through and couldn’t be bothered, now reading Blood Meridian, early days, (he’s just got a saddle) but so far so good, still trying to get around his writing style, found myself wondering a few times who exactly of the two he was referring to when there’s two characters interacting but quite like it.

Just been through a few Arthur C Clarke books that my brother lent me, enjoyed them all: Childhood’s End, The City and the Stars, The Fountains of Paradise and Rendezvous with Rama.

Was told to always start with one core and only up if really needed/available.
With 4 cores allocated to a VM the hypervisor will be waiting for 4 cores to become available before it can do anything, that could explain the problems, same with the RAM allocate only what you really need, too much and it’ll be swapping it out to disk all the time if not available.
Find VMs run on very little. Win7 – I always start with 1GB RAM and a single CPU for example – rarely have to up that and if I do it’s memory.

schrickvr6 –I got an HTC Windows Phone 8X.
great phone, great OS. Unfortunately it wouldn’t work with my car bluetooth hands free kit (built in). A bit of investigation on the tinterweb and it seems the Windows 8 phones only have a limited number of bluetooth profiles hence the car connectivity issues and this has been a known issue since November 2012 so I doubt its going to get fixed any time soon or at all.

I managed to exchange it for an Iphone 4s at no extra cost (or refund ) at O2.

the Iphone works great in my car as did my Samsung galaxy and HTC desire and JCB tough phone and Motorola Defy and Blackberry whatever before it.

Avoid any windows 8 phone if you need hands free connectivity in your car and can’t be bothered with one of them “rep” ear piece things or unless you are sure it will work in your car.

    Why’s that then?

Got another machine you can run something like VMWare workstation on? Install and activate windows with the key on there and see if it works?!?!

On another note, Windows Easy Transfer wizard can probably help transfer user profile if he wants to keep it, use to copy onto external drive and then back onto reimaged machine once done:

    Colin

Colin (a.k.a. part #223219B) is a small, round, melon-sized, flying security robot which Ford Prefect enslaves to aid in his escape from the newly re-organized Guide offices in the novel Mostly Harmless. “Its motion sensors are the usual Sirius Cybernetics garbage.” Ford captures Colin by trapping the robot with his towel and re-wiring the robot’s pleasure circuits, inducing a cyber-ecstasy trip.
Ford uses Colin’s cheerfulness to break into the Guide’s corporate accounting software in order to plant a Trojan Horse module that will automatically pay anything billed to his InfiniDim Enterprises credit card. Colin also saves Ford’s life when the Guide’s new security force, the Vogons, fire at him with a rocket launcher after Ford feels the need to jump out of the window. Colin was last seen being sent (at the risk of possible lonely incineration) to look after the delivery of the Guide Mark II to Arthur Dent in the Vogon’s postal system.
Colin was named after a dog which belonged to a girl, Emily Saunders, of whom Ford had fond memories. Colin appears in the novel Mostly Harmless, and in the radio series he was played by Andrew Secombe.

If he does get caught it will probably be a 3 point £60 fine for driving without due care and attention. Was knocked off my bike a few years back in an intentional hit and run, luckily with just cuts and bruises, the police caught him later and the court gave the guy just that.
When I was informed of the verdict, it was too late to appeal directly to the police or court. Was told I would have to complain to The Attorney General, who would have brought it up in the Court of appeal if I had a case, guess what happen when I did this.

This country is laughably lenient on driving offences, I still maintain, if you want to commit murder and get away with it, use a car.

Different car I know, but GF has a new shape Yaris.
We put all of her music onto a USB stick that is plugged into the port in the glovebox.
If you don’t need it for anything else look into whether you can do that first, lots cheaper than an ipog.

Driving GF’s car after she’s wiped the condensation off of the inside of the windscreen and left a cloudy windscreen to look through.

Think Audi (so you’d assume all new VAG cars) have a fuel cap that only opens for a larger diesel nozzle but not sure on others.

If it has killed the fuel pump: http://www.pbasher.com/look-up/index.php?carMakeID=2

And Croix De Fer in Black.. Nooooo. And I was hoping they’d move the rear disc mount to between the stays for Rack clearance too. Oh well.

Was planning on getting one later in the year, wonder if they’ll let me have a warranty if I get it resprayed.

For the money that looks good, only thing i’d want to change is the Sora shifters, the little nub to shift down is terrible, If you can live with that…
Shimano have fixed that on the 2013 shifters but this years is £899 (same as Boardman CX team) and i’m guessing you don’t have that much.

Still happy with my Gravity Dropper, probably needs a service now after about 3 years of neglect, but that’s OK, I can do it all myself. Provided I can actually get spares in the UK.
