Had plate and screws in my left wrist since 2007, if i push down in certain places can feel the heads of a couple of the screws which is a bit weird… Best thing i bought initially was a neoprene wrist brace, helped get my head back into riding with the injury if anything.
think it was about a month after the operation that i was riding again. 😕

Jupiter Ascending – Earth and other planets are essentially bees hives; at some point harvested some sort of life giving elixir. All owned by a galactic royal family, their ‘king’ has died leaving the siblings arguing over the inheritance. There’s a girl on earth who’s special for some reason…. Then I questioned why I was trying to follow this storyline that was really stupid and hard to follow, so turned it off.

I left my free mug from Rose bikes at work, every so often I see someone with it but can’t bring myself to ask them for my free mug back.

I bought mine from rose bikes and had to buy the QR converters separately, front one comes with a QR too.

My better half’s family are here because of the Kinder Transport from Austria. So I guess you could say our little girl is also here because of people like this, for that I am forever thankful.

Lived there for a year at the bottom of Neds on Mt Seymour, was a good year that.

Get yourself over to Cypress, first time i rode there crashed lots, riding friends did a lot of waiting for me, very steep and technical, end of the year was one of the faster ones in the group and had sections I liked to lead down. love steep tech now..

    I miss Cypress Sundays. 😀

Def get on some roadtrips too!, Kamloops, Kelowna, Pemberton(Grouse!), Squamish, etc. etc.

There’s a couple of Teslas and an i8 local to me, do love the Tesla, all i see with the i8 is the Porsche it’s trying to ‘poop’ out.

Boards of Canada? Lovely mix this: https://soundcloud.com/skywavesystems/a-boards-of-canada-mix

    Tycho, big fan of Awake.

Based on the fact you wrote Carbon based Lifeforms, I recently discovered them and really like Interloper. Will be looking into the other artists you mentioned, find this is the music I can put on at work and just get stuff done.

Good excuse to quote from Sheldon’s website: 🙂

The major cause of chain “stretch” is wearing away of the metal where the link pin rotates inside of the bushing (or the “bushing” part of the inside plate) as the chain links flex and straighten as the chain goes onto and off of the sprockets. If you take apart an old, worn-out chain, you can easily see the little notches worn into the sides of the link pins by the inside edges of the bushings.

Ah OK, didn’t see the first reply then. Thanks Stumpy.
It’ll be a commuter mostly so was hoping to make it stand out a little less, wrap the frame in tape maybe.

Decals, someone asked earlier but no reply; are they lacquered over?

Removing the doorcard – from memory, remove plastic covering door handle and take those large screws out, remove a couple of screws from edge of doorcard then lever off carefully from the bottom, it will go, sometimes helps to push a thin screwdriver into the clips to release (I broke a couple levering off), once out a bit unplug light and then remove more and unplug electric window switch and doorcard should come off.
Remove bolts for inner seal, pull out a bit, go mad with silicon sealant, redo bolts on inner and drive around for a day inhaling fumes, then refit door card.

Had exactly this, it was the seal on the rear door electric window metal card, was coming in under the speaker:

Mine was just passing 200k at the time so it was fixed with silicon bathroom sealant.
Whilst there look for a couple of drain holes in the bottom of the door that you should check are clear.

Recall being handed a DM article by a relative a few years ago on it, something like this:

Whilst we were away, someone stole our house numbers?! (screwed to the wall) Friends suggested we go and see if the numbers 2, 6, 26, 29 etc. have them.. Who the **** steals house numbers?! Daily Mail mode; starting to wonder if it’s the new ‘code’ for burglars to mark a house or something.

Attended a meeting at the local holiday inn for residents of the flats we live in, it’s less than a 2 minute walk away, we were the only ones that walked there, the meeting started with a little discussion on how few spaces there were in the hotel car park. 😥

When driving a 1.6 Ford Focus hire car in Germany years ago, we discovered that it would do about 115mph in 4th gear and 110mph in 5th. Don’t exactly get an easy life hire cars.

THe race he came from the back of the moto2 grid was amazing! The onboard footage from his bike was pure jaw dropping, watching him carve through the field on the first few laps.
    Talent.

    Worth watching again that.

plyphon – If was 25 and living at the parents I would not spend 10k on a car, i’d either be doing everything in my power to get my own place in the UK or i’d be in Canada/NZ etc. riding my bike as much as possible.

If you want a Scirocco, spend 1 to 2 k on a decent one, the badge on the back should say Corrado. 😉

Gregmay, what size is it and where are you?! have a 52 Condor Fratello that i’ll be looking at getting rid of as moving home in a month and the commute will be 17 miles each way, 80% gravel, 20% road, figure that would kill it.

Looked at the dirty disco, unfortunately its the same as all of the on-one/planet-x options, nearly but no, none of their CX bikes have mudguard and rack mounts. 🙁

Goldeneye, played it to the point where I could complete most levels with single headshots, especially the jail escape, AK47 was silent as long as you only took single shots.
Took to doing a similar thing with COD2 & 3 Multiplayer, bolt action rifles were brilliant, wasn’t happy with the modern warfare change….
