yep, wore one when riding for about 6 months after a bad broken wrist which needed surgery, offers decent support, feels restrictive with holding the bars to begin with but you get used to it and didn’t find it caused any hinderance riding… still wear it for dh courses but not xc stuff…

Which Pikes are they? The basic service on the air forks (not sure for coils) to change oil and clean seals is the same as the boxxers shown in the video on this page TF also do a little service kit that you can buy.

High Rollers will be perfect.

Like running a 2.35 High Roller UST on the front, brilliant tyre. Always had issues with which is the best to run on the rear though, have another high roller 2.35 on the rear at the mo but its overkill for the riding i’m doing now, thinking of giving the Ignitor 2.1 a go next…

I think it was announced about a week ago that internal US flights have gone a year without an incident..

Spent 24 hours at Seattle airport because of US airways, watched them try to fix the first aircraft (hydraulic problems) including a random moment when someone walked up with a big ball of blue roll to clean up whatever was leaking.. Then was put on another flight which was cancelled after a few hours wait as they had electrical problems…

Maybe treat the existing bike to some hydraulic brakes: Magura HS33?

Annoyed I missed it, was trying to get new bike built up the night before and hit issues with brake hoses being too short etc. generally have had a bit of a nightmare trying to get the bike working… next time though, and i’m a local so can help with the guiding…

Got SPY also, really good goggles, have a double lens that doesnt fog even on the cold wet days…

A friend used to ride with sunglasses, he received an impressive black eye from them in a crash when the helmet moved as I assume it would when he hit the chinguard on the floor, so personally i’d not ride in sunglases and a full face…

Rackstraws, car park going all the way around the premises, so theres a few spots in there to see the cars from, rear building is a restaurant and the older building at the front is a pub…
