Run tubeless for a long time now (UST Rims and Tyres), i’ve had three issues: had one puncture a few years back in Wales, and one from sharp stuff in Canada last year.
One of the rubber O rings in the vales perished from age last year too, so maybe replace those.
Stans sealant has worked fine with my two punctures, just pumped up to about 60 psi and carried on riding, sealant has worked by the time the tyre is at about 20-30 psi…
To put the stuff in just pop the tyre off a bit of the rim, pour in sealant, refit and reinflate…

Still carry a tube just in case the rip is too big or the rim is damaged badly, but so far have never had to use it…

Whereabouts are you? you could just get some anodised.
Probably cost a couple of quid if they are already doing a batch of green stuff…
Recommend Acorn plating if it’s not too far from you:

I walk with my hands in my pockets quite often, maybe I should be wearing a helmet… 😛

Honestly think these debates on compulsory helmet wearing are heading in the wrong direction, never see people talking on the phone whilst driving now do you!? Nice to hear the government are wasting money soon to findout if helmets really are safe, that not already been covered by others…?!

In NZ and Canada I saw people riding without helmets and no one was stopping them, probably as the authorities have better things to do…

The debate should be about changing drivers attitudes to cyclists, was interested to hear the final comment about making the driver more responsible…

I don’t think there will be the clearance for the mech you have bought.
As Snaps said, you’re going to need a top swing, bottom/dual pull mech as the swingarm will get in the way for conventional swing.

    something like this will fit:

Just been behind a car through a couple of towns, driving quite erratically containing a group of young girls, the driver obviously hadn’t been driving long, she jumped all the speedhumps in a busy high street, nearly running a woman over (locked up for a second), was tailgating cars and later overtook another car right before a junction and braked quite hard in front of them, Seeing things like this keeps me in the woods and off the roads when on a bike… Hoping the police catch up with her and have a word before she does some damage….

Yep, just got back from a ride in Swinley, had a really nice day, 😀 discovered a trail I hadn’t been down before, stopped and collected a couple of bags worth of rubbish from Babymaker (still tons there) and noticed that the BOB chaps are out on trail maintenance; think the trail is called Tank Traps that they are on…

Park tool PCS-9 stand, robust, can rotate to any position you’d ever need the bike at and can be folded up…

I went to Vancouver for a year, rode in vans as I’d always done, They lasted about 3 months, bought 5 10’s and rode the rest of the year with them, they have come back with me and I have done about 6 months riding back in the UK. They are still not looking anywhere near like they will need to be replaced soon.

Got a Tefal Avanti Toaster that is too shallow for most bread so you either have to turn the bread and burn the middle or live with an untoasted top bit.

    >Drivers who decide their car is so special it needs two spaces at the supermarket, etc. If you don’t want your car dinged then park where no one else does you idiot.

I always park in the empty corner if i can and it has still gained dings on one of the doors, people seem unable to park in a space without cars either side, so gravitate to an already parked car. I now park over two spaces in the quiet parts of car parks…

nice bike, my flat mate in Canada had one, it took a ton of abuse and kept going, if they let me have a visa to go back i’m getting something like that…
Just so you know, If it’s going to break it will be on the weld above the one shown in the top corner of the second pic, specialized replace without fuss with a redesigned section though…

Kept it on the wheels through the ice and have had some moments offroad pushing it on descents and jumping, so like 13thfloormonk maybe i’m due one…
Had a stupid road accident in the summer, was on the way back from a pub lunch, going at a quick pace down a hill which goes under a railway bridge and the road narrows, car was behind so looked back to see where the car was as I was about to go through the narrow, hit the kerb when I was looking back. I went over the bars, broke my collarbone and also cracked my head on the floor writing off the helmet, but luckily not my head… Car driver was really nice, calling an ambulance etc. and kept a straight face, I would have found it funny seeing a cyclist flip over the bars in front of me tbh….

    Hope you heal well abarthchris…

Was in Vancouver riding last summer, they have long sections of rubber checkerplate running on sections, not sure if its something that can be obtained here, but was quite grippy and wasn’t wearing badly despite being on a busy trail, CBC on Mount Seymour:
