Was noticably wearing out a thomson seatpost so decided to go with a GD, and its been great.

Last couple of days though, I have to lift the saddle when its on the top setting to get it to click so that I can then put weight on the seat to drop it?!

Had to read that a few times to understand what was written.
Good to know I can ride my bike half a mile to the station, leave the bike there and then walk 4 miles to work at the other end…
Wheres the appeal against the decision button?

Also use a 661 wrist support, broke my wrist badly a year ago and had a metal plate put in, the wrist wrap does feel quite weird for a bit, but it isn't really obtrusive and you don't notice it after a few rides, worth using for piece of mind IMO…

I'm in a loop, on week 3 column 3, reach day 3, and still struggle to get the 30 pressups done, can do about 25 but no more… too many 3's for me maybe, i'm going to try working through week three next week for the third time now…

New Scirocco comes with the 2.0 170bhp 258Lbs/ft TDI engine, can get it with the DSG gearbox option too, I'd like to own one one day…
A friend had a TDI engine conversion in a Corrado, went very well, stayed level with the VR6 up to illegal speeds…

did you try both sizes? why did you go with the 5 in the end?

Yup, the 18″ was too big for me…
I was going to be going back to Vancouver for a couple of years with work so looked to get a bike that I could happily ride there with occasional rides back up. That all changed so I ended up buying a bike that would be better for riding in UK, the 5. Its been great and I definitely don’t regret it. I’ve thrown it down and off some silly stuff and it hasn’t complained at all…

Ended up getting an orange 5 though… 8)

If youre going to get a screw in your car tyre it will be in the one that you had repaired before, structurally you can only get the tyre repaired once so must purchase replacement tyres for perfectly good ones…

This reminds me of a time we got breakfast at a tescos cafe, a friend went absolutley mental at staff because they’d run out of beans and refused to get more from the tesco store downstairs…

Hope you dont mind, can i jump on here with a 29er related question…

I had a go on a friends on a dirt track and it was great, but i was told it looked massive with me riding as im only 5’7″, the question is are there any vertically challenged people riding 29ers and how do you get on with riding them offroad?

I think the gravity dropper is still the most sensible choice for 27.2mm…

I think the options with a 27.2mm at the moment are gravity dropper, gravity dropper or gravity dropper.
The Cobra i900/i950 was rumoured to be coming out in 27.2mm, but that hasn’t materalised yet…
