Hamilton by far the best!! Bring on the new season, can't wait!! Not sure about the new safety car, bit too 'old school'

I'm only half an hour from them, still not heard of them though. LBS is a Trek dealer so a little more difficult for them, although i'm not sure why they can't use eBay??

I Love mine, but i have upgraded and made it a bit more 'burly' as some of the others have said. I can still ride it all day though and regularly do 50 – 60 miles a week on it with no problems at all. It is slower than other bikes up the hills but i think that is more down to the rider, on the downhill it is great fun and just makes you want to push it faster and faster. Highly recommend it.

    Here's mine

I did it last year, bit awkward to start with but turned out to be a great holiday and made some really good friends. I'd recommend it as i didn't feel any pressure and everyone that was there were really friendly and very like minded.

I'd recommend Tour De Mont Blanc with MBMB. They describe it as their 3 countries tour. I did it last year as a first Alps trip, was hard work but the singletrack decents are AMAZING, listening to the brakes ticking because they are so hot from over use. Have a look at http://www.mbmb.co.uk pretty reasonable price as well.

Cheers for all the input, i'm thinking i might send them back to TFT in a couple of months. Give them a good going over seeing as i have completely neglected them.

I'd say it is, i've not done Skyline but W2 is good fun and the whites level section of it is great.

I've just bought a Trek 1.2 for a bit of training to increase my endurance and got it on the cycle to work scheme and i think its great. Really light and it eats the miles. It does take a bit of getting used to the seating position compared to a mountain bike.

I was in the same frame of mind as you were completely slating road bikers and saying i would never do it. I since went to the alps and after being destroyed up every hill by road mtbers that are also road bikers i took the plunge.

I'd definitely vouch for the Trek, great bike.
