Manrose MF100 from Screwfix if you have a suitable void to put it in. It’s really quiet and very powerful. Totally solved my condensation issues in my en-suite.

    It’ll be Terresa May.
Who else would actually want the job at this time and would have enough support?

They are around 1.65m x 1m each per 250w panel if that helps. Maybe draw a picture?
    What size is your roof?

Same as submarined above, I ended up with a IXS Trail RS EVO which is snug, but fine.

Tried 661 and TLD helmets but although they fit, they just felt and looked huge.

It’s for lifting individual cocktail sausages out of hot brine..

    Doesn’t everyone have one?

We have a dot in the kitchen, used every day for shopping list, timers and voice controlling the Sonos to use Deezer.

In a domestic situation yes, I’d probably want a contract for that value.

JCT Minor works building contract is common and something I’ve used lots in the past for domestic works.

I haven’t personally used it (don’t do domestic anymore), but the RIBA Domestic Building Contract is probably more suitable and easy to understand for the uninitiated.

Note, I am a Building Surveyor and act as contract administrator regularly

I wouldn’t expect them to pick the car up, but my garage (and the one I used previously) would drop me back home / work / station and pick me up again from same. I think that’s fairly standard for most main dealers.

    Have you asked them?

Had a nest for a few years, it’s great. Only a single zone but you just add more of them for multi zones guess.

They run off 240v on the receiver side and have a 12v output to power the programmer or you just plug it in with USB adaptor to any socket.

As others have said, if it’s off because it has detected you’re away then it’ll only pick you up when you enter the house generally. Of course you can fire it up yourself remotely 30 mins before you get back with the app.

We’ve got both in ear and non contact. Never seem to get anything like the same reading twice with the latter so don’t think it can be accurate. Thankfully the boy doesn’t mind the in ear one.

I started with a brushed Makita drill from screwfix with a couple of 1.5Ah batteries. I’ve since added a few bare tools to the workshop to supplement but the basic combi is great, I only resort to the SDS for big holes in masonry / core drills or chasing..

My main gotcha would be if you’re likely to buy other tools, buy the 3ah or bigger battery as some (sds, angle grinder etc) won’t accept the smaller Makita ones.

The wheels on those vehicles are designed to be sacrificial in the event of an explosive strike.. They are designed to be easily removable and replaceable to get the vehicle back up and running in a warzone. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the tracking is out.. don’t think REME focus on 4 wheel laser alignment when they rebuild them.

As others have mentioned, squaddies often not mechanically sympathetic..

Standard in my experience is a phone call to their agent. (backed up by every episode of Location location location I’ve ever seen)

Print out of on line banking is generally ok.

You can ask what you like, but i doubt you’ll get it completely removed. Especially as until you exchange they have no guarantee that you’ll proceed (assuming you’re not in Scotland..)

Dog are ace and this thread has made me smile!

Our neighbour has a German Shepherd – Malamute cross who is lovely.. but HUGE. It looks like the collie has reduced the size of yours..

Bert looks very happy, thanks for taking him in.

SWA could be laid in the ground. Usually at a depth that would stop it accidentally being dug up, e.g. 450mm.. marker tape at 200mm above ideally.

Do what you like with the cat6.. however personally I’d be making the hole for the power large enough lso install a 22mm pipe duct for the network. Ensure you keep separation to avoid interference on the network.

Thanks all. Dog is very chilled (for a springer) but I think would need space to lie down which would rule out anything compact. Love the look of those cargo bikes but a bit overkill for occasional use (and don’t fancy one up hills).

    Will investigate your suggestions.

Assuming your house is masonry construction then yes.. big drill.. right size core drill. Drill a pilot first and then drill from both sides so you aren’t going to burst out with a huge hole. Find out what insulation you have… loose fill polystyrene would be fun as it fills your bedroom.

Think about how you’re going to finish the hole. Insect guard, non return flap. Will it be a cold disaster when it’s -5 outside in Jan?

You need to unregister that phone number from Apple. I had the same issue years ago when I ditched the iPhone. It’s not a problem with your phone, more that other iPhones check in with Apple when they send a text and try and use imessage rather than plain text.

Off the top of my head I can’t remember how I did it but it’s a common problem and Google found the answer pretty quickly.

Those non contact pens are fine for a quick check, but i’d be putting a proper tester on there to double check before i started sticking my fingers in. A basic multi meter is cheap enough.

It could be an induced current from a live connection running in close proximity to the (hopefully) dead cable you’re testing.

If outgoing is sending via a smtp server with no authentification then this is normal behaviour (or anyone would be able to send spam through your isp’s server. To allow sending on another network you’d usually need to use a login and password with the outgoing server.

Radius of your screen is around 507mm (assuming it’s a constant radius). Calculated by drawing it in AutoCAD and measuring it…

Will see if i’m inspired in a few weeks if it is dry enough.

I had a Exeo and now have a Mk3 Octavia estate. The Octavia is much bigger in cabin and boot space than the Exeo. Exeo is based on the old A4 platform from around 07… older tech than the Octavia.

13 plate would be last of the mk2 Octavias or possibly a Mk3.

Not currently on any bike shop mailing lists, but having bought a few work shirts from both TM Lewin and CT Shirts, they seem to almost communicate, every time you get an email from one, 5 mins later their competitor emails.. Sometimes more than one a day (it seems anyway.. i haven’t actually checked)

The most annoying however must be sites that email you if you add anything into a shopping basket. I may do some late night phone browsing and add a few things into a basket to check and maybe buy another time.. *ping* email – “you’re forgotten something.. checkout now…” F&£*$ off!

You can get it to download tracks for offline play (albums or playllists) but yes, it’ll use your data allowance if you’re not on Wi-Fi.

You can customise in the options how much storage it can use.

That’s good news surfer, mystery illnesses are always a worry.
I’ve carried my own springer home from walks on a few occasions where she’s refused to budge.. only for her to make an instant recovery and go chase a cat when I get home..

Won’t that mean there are two DHCP servers running on the same network? Your WAP and whatever the WAP is getting its IP address from?
My understanding is that this will cause problems.

Is there a reason why your WAP can’t have its ip fixed and set outside the DHCP range?

I’ve got an Xtend one.. the 3.8m (bought from screwfix) which I use regularly at work.
It’s fine.. feels sturdy and has been reliable.
Need to keep them clean and inspect regularly but no issues.

It took me a while to warm to the DSG box in my wife’s Golf.. same issues as johndoh above, however I think it was more the fault of the auto hold feature on the handbrake (never hit anything though!). Thankfully you can turn that off (still prefer a proper manual handbrake though)
It can also take some getting used to in combination with the engine auto stop. You pause briefly at a junction, and just as you go to put your foot down, the car decides to kill the engine. Again, easy to turn off, but probably prefer my manual where it won’t cut off if your foot is on the clutch.

My Springer is with Direct Line. I don’t think their cover is as well thought of as Pet Plan but they paid up very quickly for 1.8k of dental work when she broke a tooth. Premium has gone up, but that’s only to be expected.

Yes, doggy root canal is expensive!

Android devices should work with no dramas.. Plug in a mouse or I assume a trackpad and you get a mouse pointer appear.
No idea if this is possible with apple stuff.

Try Fruity Loops Studio for recording tracks. Interfaces with a midi controller keyboard and is very powerful. The free demo version has most stuff enabled and so your daughter could do all the basic stuff before shelling out.

Loads of plugins to add features but the basic stuff isn’t too hard to get working.

I’ve used 123 reg for years. Cheap, full control from their web panel. Haven’t had to call them, it just works. I don’t host a site with them, just domains.

The 99 quid for a years Entertainment and Cinema pass is a good deal if you’re happy to stump up the cash in advance. It’s available for new and existing customers.
