I’m selling a frame and some forks on ebay at the moment.. lots of interest and bids so think it’s a good time to get rid of unwanted bike stuff. The make an offer thing is something that does annoy me, I’m not actually sure you can turn it off though, seems to default to on at least until there is a first bid.

Anyway, keeping fingers crossed that I’m not going to get messed around at the end.

After trying quite a few in the supermarket I’ve settled on Sainsbury’s Fairtrade Italian Espresso Coffee Beans.

    A princely 9 quid for a kilo.

My Springer has Nexguard Spectra tablet once a month. Sorts flees and she doesn’t seem to get ticks with it. We do have deer where we walk so there are plenty of the little critters in the grass. Also used a collar from the vets when she was a little pup and that worked great too but cant remember the brand.

Warm milk in mug plus a couple of “long” shots from our delonghi bean to cup machine. Cant be bothered with the hassle of anything more complicated.

I’ve only ever seen Beavertown in M&S

Sainsburys stock Beavertown. 7.50 for 4 when I was in last.

My M&S renewal was crazy this year. I got a fresh quote on a new policy with them and it was about 100quid cheaper.

If it’s an issue with the shock that has developed over time does it not point to the need for a service? 100 quid ish from Silverfish…

My 4 year old took a little while to progress from his balance bike to his frog 48. We used a trail gator tow bar between him and me which helped him to learn to pedal without any distractions.. it’s also handy for getting longer distances or short road trips to nice places for him to ride on his own..

Online conversion charts list it as Pantone 3145.

It may not be an exact match..

Having checked, I’ll confirm, its Royal Logistics Corps officers Mess Dress. Like military black tie, used for dinner nights etc. It would have rank on the shoulders (which is missing on your pics)

I think “they” say you can safely run with them from 6 months, but it will depend on the buggy. Need to have strong enough core and neck muscles. Think we started earlier than that on smooth paths, but the buggy at the time had good cushioning and support for the little one.

99% invisible and the allusionist are both worth a shot. Former is very wide ranging on design topics from around the world, latter is about words and language.

We have an out n about nipper which we picked up on gumtree. Its excellent, used around the woods on weekend dog walks and have done many parkruns with it on smooth tracks.

Boy is 4 and a half now and would still use it but he tends to run himself or go on my shoulders now..

    Would certainly get another.

It does happen. Few years ago we had a laptop delivered, or at least amazon chap pretended to deliver it,  neighbours cctv showed he didn’t go down the drive, just got close enough for the gps in his delivery pda thingy to allow him to fake sign for it. When he tried the same with the replacement (with my wife and I watching him out the window) the depot manager had him tracked and intercepted when he took a detour on the way back to stash the goods.

Thankfully an isolated issue, never had anything else go walkies.

We have 3 large square wicker baskets, from Dunelm I think.. takes the bulk of the shoes, but with the muddy boots and shoes from dog walking it still end up with a shoe based assault course to get through the porch.

Pressure switch scaled up limescale possibly, or other such debris.

Could be more terminal, internal corrosion or leaking into electrics – without inspecting you won’t know.

I had a similar issue and ended up just putting a new one in, was going to be easier than messing around trying to descale it. Bonus is the new one (same make and output) was much quieter.

From about £130 quid from screwfix…

    In short – No.

Basic laws of physics require the heat energy to go “somewhere”.

AC works by putting the compressor outside – this is the hot bit – the compressed refrigerant is then piped inside and allowed to expand, which drops it’s temperature allowing it to absorb heat from the room.

As you have no option for natural ventilation (opening windows) you should also have a means of mechanical ventilation. Without this you can cool that air with the AC – but you’re still left with stale air with high CO2 levels in the meeting room. As it is your meeting room doesn’t comply with Building Regulations.

I surprised nobody has noticed the lack of ip rating of the socket below the window…. the one right next to the outside tap. Looks like the cover has become detached?

Rehau are a decent manufacturer of windows. You can search their website for local installers.

    Local company every time.

3 windows, depending on size of course, approx £1200 quid.

Door, £900 ish for composite door

I’d guess Everest will start the bidding at about 6 grand.

I would agree with mattbe above. Did course a few years ago now, also Hants, it was useful and I certainly speed less and pay more attention to my speed when driving.

I’ve used Dreamhost for years. There are no restrictions on number of databases. They have decent offers on at the moment and are pretty powerful. You get full ssh access to the shell, crontab access etc.

I had this issue with my formula R1X’s after leaving bike unridden for ages.. Needed a bleed and a change of the washers behind the bleed port screws.

Used the kit from Epic bleed solutions. Was easy – took 30 mins. They also sell the washers. Kit contains a nice wedge to ensure you get pistons all the way back when you bleed.

    Air defence range on Benbecula?

It’s one of the few places they can fire the fun stuff.

The fact that we’re even considering letting them anywhere near our telecoms network is staggeringly inept and frankly terrifying

They already do supply equipment for our mobile phone network. That horse bolted the stables some time ago.

I have an app for the phone, “Plantnet” on android that does a pretty good job of identifying stuff using the camera. It’s free.

IANAS – but I do commission lots of electrical work

Anywhere from a couple of hundred to a grand.

Is it from a spare way and surface mounted around a garage? or into a full to capacity DB with existing faults, chased into solid walls around 4 rooms via your shed.

Think you need to define the spec.

Just looked at our own applicant forms (I work for a University) – We don’t ask for a DOB at applicant stage, however we do ask for dates for education.. Obviously you could work out a rough age for someone from those if you really wanted to discriminate.

I know they had to redo all the toolbars for 2019 as I believe it’s the first version to properly support menu scaling (for uhd monitors) this may be why they dropped support for some of the classic toolbar stuff.

I bit the bullet and switched to the new layout a couple of years ago after resisting for so long

Seem to have most versions from the different machines available.

We have Herman Miller Celle chairs in the office – had mine for around 6 years. Doesn’t look very comfy, but is – and is hard as nails (no fabric to wear on the version I have)
We’ve been buying Orangebox Do chairs recently as they are much cheaper and they still seem well liked by the staff that use them.

If you’re unsure of the cheaper quote ask for more info. It’s notifiable work so they’ll need to inform HSE.

I expect they are going to wrap the AIB first and remove it that way rather than work in an enclosure. It all boils down to ensuring the fibre release doesn’t go above the limits for exposure of their operatives and their RPE.

If in doubt, rather than let them bring in their own analyst, employ your own directly to carry out monitoring and do 4 stage clearance.

    Socks – check
    Pants – check
Lynx – thankfully not, although I did get some fancy skincare stuff after a pre Christmas spa treat.
My brothers have an understanding now to get each other wine / ale or something tasty rather than random tat each year.

I specify Acrylic Eggshell for walls that may get dirty / wiped down lots. It’s much more expensive than emulsion but way tougher. Or as others have mentioned, plastic cladding (Atro Whiterock – which comes in more than just white) for areas from showers to kitchen splashbacks to the areas under hand driers that always get soaked / minging. It’s a garage though.. so maybe just marine grade ply, left unpainted?

still the army are on site now, hopefully they brought manpads.

Whilst the detection / tracking systems on a Stormer would be good for this, I wouldn’t want to be the operator loosing off an HVM in London..
Maybe they shouldn’t have scrapped Boris’s water canon? That would have been perfect!
