Just report it to ebay and leave feedback. They’ll get a strike on their account and a negative feedback from you but really that is the most you can hope for.

You’re not going to get the caravan sorry to say,

Gave the dog a blast yesterday. Wish I hadn’t bothered. It has dried to a sticky, heavy gloopy mess which just covered me and my bike and took all day today to clean.

    It was very slow going.

23 tragically. I was a little upset by this mainly because it was answered with a knowing honesty.

I am tempted to get the Dremel…

What attachment would work best do you think?

I went all the way to Bringewood for some DH riding (from Northants) only to realise, once I’d arrived, I’d got everything bar my helmet. Was a nice drive though.

(the spine on that woman on the far right is freaking me out!)

if I would care to print out the attached voucher and take it into any store, the same offer would apply, even on sale items.

Link to the voucher for everyone to photocopy and use please…

We’ll be in touch with anyone who placed multiple/gift voucher orders to refund them.

I placed one order with the code which went through but received no email confirmation of the order and it appears that the order is pending on your website? Is this just a glitch or should I be contacting customer services?

Bit late to the party but this was our first. Glorious day, perfect start to 2013.

Not sure what happened to mine. Got the discount applied. Checked out with my bank details etc and my banks own security password check then just got a message saying ‘sorry, there appears to be a problem’. Now in my order history it says the oder is processing?

Yes the fact that it continues to be used by horses and peds is a pain in the proverbial, but the landowner is perfectly entitled to do this. It may seem unfair and it is, but life isn’t fair. Suck it up, stop moaning like a set of bee-hatches and ride somewhere else. And as for not doing damage – cobblers. You may not be doing any physical damage but you’re damaging the reputation of the sport, and leaving those of us who do chose to ride responsibly to try to argue the toss.

Or, I could just continue to ride wherever I choose and leave you to “argue the toss”. It may seem unfair and it is, but life isn’t fair.

OP tries to troll and then complains that the rest of us are over sensitive

Because clearly you are over sensitive. Get a grip FFS.

I’ve never been overweight but I wanted to lose a little of the extra blubber I’d put on recently so I just opted to try the fasting thing. I initially did 2 days a week at about 500 calories then ate as normal the remaining days. After doing this for two weeks I lost 7 pounds! It was too much so now I fast for one day a week and have about 400 calories on that day.

I’ve maintained a good weight since and find fasting for one day a week pretty easy. Combined with average training – cycling etc and a generally good diet I feel better than I ever have in my life.

At a push I’d pick the films of Stanley Kubrick or DC comics with a leaning towards Batman (could I specify?).

    … I’ve wasted my life.

It’s actually not as difficult to ride as it used to be. It’s getting down to the harder stuff underneath so it tends not to suck the bike in quite as much.

Jobes and the like in the 80’s had it really tough around there.

Speaking of Hawkstone, a certain Danny Hart will be entering this years pre-season international in February, as will I. 😀

New hobbies for me, I’m going to learn to play the guitar this year. I say it every year but I mean it this time!

Me too. I’m always told I should have musical ability as musical talent runs in both sides of my family but unlike most of my relatives patience is something I don’t have in abundance. But next year I am going to learn to play the guitar.

I’ve regularly sold my old Motocross helmets. I’d never sell one that was crashed, dropped or tampered with that could be detrimental to its performance obviously, because it would just go straight in the bin.

I’ve sold helmets that are perfectly good, used but good, and people have happily bought them on my word and visual inspection alone. I personally wouldn’t buy a second hand helmet ever.

There’ll be another reboot at some point but no sequel. This was Nolans trilogy which is now complete. No robin movie either, the end was just a nod to batman fans really not a link into a robin film, thankfully.

    Congratulations.
No suggestions on how you do it but just make sure they don’t hear about it first from someone else who may have read about it on an internet forum…

Thankfully my parents think the Internet is some sort of sea fishing device.

I’d definitely wait a month or two – it’s a bit of a grim statistic, but something like 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage in the first 3 months. Although you might want their support if anything goes wrong – everyone’s different.

Absolutely Mr Toast. We intend to keep it to ourselves for a few months.

The Christmas present list for next year sounds good. I like that idea.

I didn’t quite get it on Christmas Day but on Boxing Day afternoon my wife, after trying for the best part of 9 months, found out she was indeed pregnant with our first.

Best Christmas present we both could have ever wished for. (I’m glad I asked for the money off my folks however, I fear I going to need every available penny now)

I loved the Dark Knight rises but thought the ending was horrifically formulaic.

The ending was many things but formulaic it was not. It was open to your own interpretation.

Stressful year this one. Wife has been on the list of potential NHS redundancies all year. Just last week got slotted in to a new post with greater security so we can actually enjoy Christmas.
As a treat I’ve got us a couple of kayaks so next year we will be adding that to our things to do so I intend to make 2013 a year for doing fun stuff and make up for this one.

Likewise my racing calendar looks much fuller for next year than it has since I was 17. All Downhill stuff but more or less racing somewhere every other weekend from April through to September then a few Winter races too.

    Busy busy busy.

Like others have said, be careful if driving anywhere of any distance today.

I made the fatal error of driving up the M6 last Friday in torrential rain, to visit family. The spray and standing water was so bad that my car ingested water into the fuse box, shorted out the lights, wipers and heaters. Was a truly unpleasant journey.

There was an interview in the Big Issue with the guy who created Mrs Brown’s Boys. He made a good comment about comedy in the last few years has forgotten it’s supposed to make people laugh, the worst being programs like The Office which were just trying to be clever but weren’t going to make people laugh.

The Office makes me laugh. Mrs Brown’s Boys makes me cringe.
