No, not me and I wouldn’t want to. Like everything in life you have to endure a bit of the bad to truly appreciate the good.

Not my fault, no wiggly red lines on work PCs… even with chrome tab installed…

What’s your problem with technology? Take responsibility. Stop blaming everyone/everything but yourself etc etc…

As much as I’d like a new, ready to run cafe style racer I did ideally want a project and the opportunity to make something that was unique and a bit more personal.

At the same time I don’t want to get a donor that is just going to be more trouble than its worth.

Such a shame, particularly as the X-Fighters was going to Japan this year. Would have been fantastic for him and his home fans.

It’s the simple things that make the biggest difference. Like you mentioned, got mine from eBay for 6 quid it’s always in my chainsaw bag.

Enlighten me. What should one shout at them?

it is a classic case of blowing something out of proportion.

And the thread title is grossly misleading and disproportionate to the alleged issue

A reference will almost certainly include ‘dismissed for gross misconduct’ if nothing else.

    32. Too old. Mid life crisis.

    Regardless I’d go for a 24″, you won’t get on with a 20″ as a beginner or being 6’3.

Is owning a chainsaw(s) also worthy of being added to the list? If so my score would be boosted greatly.

The initial outlay for my motocross bikes have always been similar to that of my mountain bikes, which I’ve never been able to understand and has always grieved me when I buy a new mountain bike. Likewise the long term value is far better on a motocross bike. I usually swap my MX bikes each season and on average it costs me about a grand to swap a current year machine for the following years machine. Likewise if I sell an MX bike privately I’ll get a good price for it. I just sold an old 2007 suzuki RM 250 for £2400. I paid £3500 for it brand new in 2007 and it’s had a hard life. The moment I get dirt on a mountain bike I’ve almost certainly lost a third of its value in a private sale.

Buying mountain bikes is not something I do very often anymore.

I found that Husky motors never stood up very well to hard prolonged use. I had two and both blew up. One twice. It may have just been bad luck but I’ve had no such problems with any of my stihl saws.

Preety sure i would have checked if the missues was in bed before shooting into the ensuite or perhaps have even called out given I was holding a gun.

Good shot though to get them through the door..its like he knew where they were

Odd one I guess only he knows but I cannot see why you would not check the bed/look or speak tbh

Exactly. Likewise the judge at the bail hearing thought exactly the same thing…. But still awarded bail.

The flue pipe will sit around 3-4 foot away from the closest wall. Is this a safe distance to avoid the use of fireboard?

Stihl 211 sounds about right to me. Mine has been flawless and happily deals with firewood and small trees. I’ve also had a bash at a bit of wood carving with it. Bought a quarter tip bar for it and its really worked well considering the abuse saws get with carving.

also one of these. Smaller than my normal saw for lighter work in the coppice. A bargin for £150.

Can I ask where you purchased the saw from Stoner? Just the size I’m after.

‘what deposit?’..perhaps he thought it was part payment.. which it was infact. if you then choose not to complete that payment .. he may come after your for the balance.. and wish to clarify when your going to pick up said item.. and or pay for its storage..

    No, that is utter bollocks.

    Garabaldi, or some fruit cake?

Garabaldi please. On average only about 40 calories per slice so you can eat thousands of them (which we are undoubtably going to need).

OP drop the attitude or dont ask the question. Such questions come with answer(s) that you dont want to hear.

Is this like the time you asked whether Lance Armstrong doped?

I already know where I stand morally, hence I was specifically asking the question based on a legal position.

    Condescending prig.

If we could remove the condescending tones from the posts that would be great. Answering a question with another question or set of questions isn’t particularly helpful. Just a ‘legally he can keep the deposit’ would have sufficed.

Cheers Steve. None returnable deposit never came into it. In fact it was only through my suggestion that a deposit was paid. I feel bad about wasting his time but he only had the deposit for 2 days before I contacted him to advise I couldn’t complete the sale so doubt it’s had any major detrimental affect on his sale.
