Women are mental, simple as that.
I can walk in the front door and be greeted with something along the lines of ‘i’m so lucky to have you’ and then 24 hours later, doing absolutely nothing different i can walk in and she is ready to teara strip off me becasue she’s had a bad day which is nothign to do with me i hasten to add!!
I’ll never, ever understand them andhave give up trying. In fact if i ever did split up i dont think i really could be arsed starting over again!!
When i worked from home (i dont anymore, instead i go into the city centre to one of those places that charge you by the minute) i had the same sort of thing….i could be in the middle of a call and she’d be stood there to tel me that the dishwasher was making a funny noise or some crap!! 🙂
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberI’ve got the Model S – go for it, you wont regret it ever!! Especially when the Easter Eggs drop!! They are fantastic cars! Do it!!
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberSome of the things i’ve witnessed when i’ve picked my nephews up is truly staggering!! I don’t know how women manage to get so angry about things?!?!
This is a timely post, no word of lie, i picked my nephews up on Friday and there was a cluster of parents tearing a shred off what i assume was the PE teacher because he had given their kids DOMS (sore legs from exercise!) by doing squats to ‘Up Sally up, down Sally down’! They were venemous!
I don’t know about drink driving be dangerous a mother on a school run in a Nissan Quashqai is lethal – mounting the pavement whilst pedestrians are on it, they’d park on the teachers desk if they could!!
I don’t remeber it being so fraught when i was a kid….let alone dust ups which from teacher friends i believe is a common occurance up and down the land…..all that stress and it’s not even 9am for them!! 🙂
As for the woman in question, she’s clearly thick as **** so i wouldn’t expect anything sensible from her. Keep in mind that she is raising another (probably) bunch of ****wits too….
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberAnother one is tupid bleeping noises when somene is doing work on a PC like zooming in on CCTV for example! Why would any developer ever do this…..in reality can you imagine the amount of noise in an office with all this stupid bleeping?!?! 🙂
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberBeing an out and out nerd, whilst watching Independence Day i was amazed to see that the Aliens had alsodeveloped a network protocol exactly the same as TCP/IP which enabled the U.S Army to conveniently drop a virus into their systems…..as if this wasn’t obvious to the audience they reinforced the fact with a convenient progress bar that said ‘Uploading Virus’!!
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberHopefully this works!!

Ferris-BeullerFree MemberDo it!!
I’m on my second model s and would wholeheartedly recommend them.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberHaha, it’s a funny place Mansfield – like the land that time forgot….there looks to be some nice areas surrounding though……Blidworth looks alright…a bit rural but not too far from where i’ll be working….
Thanks for the heads up on Sherwood, i’m hoping for some good weather so i can do some riding after work.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberI didn’t hear it, but i’ve had an electric car for the past couple of years and will never return to a petrol / dielsel car.
I know the argument is that you’re kicking the can down the line, but with the advent of vastly improved batteries for home solar systems (we have the Powerwall) we run the car on nothing other than the initial outlay. That said, we no longer receive an electricity bill because we run purely off the batteries.
I think it’s incredible that this is now a thing to be honest.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberHaha pissed Uncle – nope!
Concerned for an 8 year olds welfare – yupFerris-BeullerFree MemberI love mine!
The charging network is expanding literally every week which is fantastic, but as someone on here hinted most of us dont do that many milkes on a daily basis so the charging requirement isnt a massive concern.
In terms of the old pollution argument, there is something to be said for the electric car kicking the pollution can further down the line to the power stations….if and when nuclear properly comes online that should make it a whole lot cleaner….i’m sure someone will be along to correct me! 🙂
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberThe TOR browser is just a small part of the whole ‘dark web’. Installing and searching using Disconnect / DuckDuckGo is the easy part.
Where it gets more interesting / difficult is finding consistency of the .onion addresses. Keep in mind why people use this method of communication. The domains tend to change regularly to avoid detection so you’ll have to become a member of some chat rooms where users update the .onion links. They appear like random or nonsensical sites like jghghsjagfja67576575.onion and in a few weeks its moved on to gajhgtytytyuvv.onion etc.
As a software engineer and all round geek it is a very clever bit of ingenuity.
I run it through a linux VM with enforced security policies, firewalls and VLAN’d off from my network just to be safe as there are a lot very nasty websites malicious code wise on there. Also, the content, if you’re successful finding up to date message boards be prepared to see stuff you possibly might not want to……or want to, which is one of the reasons you may be using it.
Be careful.

EarthedFerris-BeullerFree MemberHob Nob, strangely enough i had the exact conversation last night with one of my mates! Normally it’s his wife being the smug one about having kids and we don’t…….if only she knew what he was really thinking!! 🙂
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberNot had kids, dont plan on having any, we’re perfectly happy and a lot younger looking than our counterparts who have chosen to have them!
From an outsider it looks massively stressful and expensive.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberAbsolutely fine by me! It is Christmas which and like it or loathe it, it’s a very significant part the British culture.
With it’s current huge emphasis on commercialism i am pleased that they are covering it.
Someone mentioned that the guy who runs the BBC is an aethiest…i’m really not sure what this has to do with anything?
Quite simple really, if you don’t like it, turn it off.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberWhat TJ says, what Ehrob saus and do what Outofbreath says (whilst looking for another job!).
It wont change.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberWwaswas – i’ve checked a few of the specialist bloggers out and some companies seem to be vague about what they can deliver…possibly a bit of hot air?? If you can suggest someone that would be great.
In terms of our customers using LinkedIn it really is a mixed bag as to those who do and don’t and probably 50/50…..
Twitter seems to be working well for us at the mo, so looking at integrating that with other channels.
I don’t want to spend a load of time though on some emperor’s new clothes!! 🙂

Ferris-BeullerFree MemberI’m not interested in the simple comments from “Christian-bashers”, especially as it seems so in-vogue from people on this forum! I’m not making a pro-Christian point (if you think that, you’ve misunderstood my point).
I had noticed that references to Christianity is snubbed or almost sneered at.
As always, lots of different opinions. Maybe i should relax a bit more and not get bogged down with the advertising, commercialism and general excess and do my own thing!
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberIf you’re going to invest time and money in skiing make sure its in the boots. Try as many as possible as like bikes, one boot doesn’t suit everyone.
Where are you based?
If you’re up North, try Graham and the lads at Rivington Alpine.
Another nod for Solutions for Feet – never used them, but heard good things about them.
If you’re north of the border give Alain Baxters shop a try. I doubt many in the UK will have his level of knowledge.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberGive Andy Burnham chance to get his feet under the table regarding this one.
He has made some bold promises and i hope he can pull it off. The problem in Manchester appears to have sky rocketed….much like a lot other cities.
Nobody should be living like that this day and age.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberTry using the M60 anytime after 2pm……its a nightmare! I cant see how controlling the speed will make any difference at all. At best you get about 35mph.
Driving anywhere in England at the moment just isn’t easy! I had a 9 hour journey back from Norfolk on Monday. Absurd.
I can’t see how all this half arsed infrastructure will help in any way and i don’t have any suggestions i’m afraid other than spend boat loads on public transport!!
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberMillenials, Instagram, road bikes, the whole celebrity thing, Kasabian….
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberAye, but they headphones in! The van driver probably was a little louder than i was!! 🙂
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberIf it wasn’t for the colour of your bike, i doubt i would have seen you either!
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberI’m amazed at how many people don’t wash their hands after going to the loo. Washing your hands should be just as obvious as putting your c*ck away or wiping your ar5e!
Dirty, dirty folk! No excuses.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberFunnily enough we have a Tesla rep coming around to ours next month for the Powerwall and Solar Roof. They seem to be second to none and i was under the impression that they do power the home in the event of an outage……but we’ll see!
I’d be interested if you have any alternatives to recommend or experiences….
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberI posted about this a while ago….
I watched a sky go from clear blue sunny day to a cloudy milky white cloudy sky in the grid formation that people associate with chemtrails.
Whilst being truly a sceptic in these matters, i couldn’t help feel it was very odd. I’ve never seem contrails behave like that before and it was odd to witness. I still remain unconvinced, but like i say it was strange to watch this lovely clear sky change in about 20 minutes.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberI use OSX at work, but all my home stuff…media server, file server and laptops are all Linux based. A combination of FreeNAS for storage, Debian on the desk/laptops and Elementary for the media server. All run great, but there are a couple of niggles you just dont get with OSX or more current versions of Windows. I love it, but i’m not sure its ready (or will ever be!) for the general public’s consumption….maybe they want to keep it that way?!?
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberThe relationship seemed fine and then this! It was all very friendly…..and now with a bit of retrospect a little too casual!
Wrightyson, we’ve had nothing other than the confirmation of the PP and a couple of rough sketches of the sort of thing that can be done. It was once we had the PP that we were looking at progressing things. I’m still stumped how you can get an engineer involved when nothing has been agreed let alone the design of the extension…..is it spanning the entire length of the house? is it not? How far is it coming out? Surely you need to have a design / concept agreed before you proceed?
I’ve since sent a strongly worded email! 🙂
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberThanks folks, as always this place delivers!! 🙂
I’m going to try and have another chat with him and see where that gets me and if he’s still being unreasonable in my opinion then i’ll have chat with the board he belongs to.
Ferris-BeullerFree MemberA tax is OK, but ideally the key would be to change peoples behavior. I don’t know why people do that sort of thing, it baffles me!
