Yep, 20 years T1, i dont ride road bikes but certainly dont have any issues mountain biking with the condition. Stopping to check your BM and making whatever adjustments you need with food/drink and insulin is second nature for me and although it can be a faff its just part of everyday life etc.
I’ve used a pump for the past 3 years and for me its great, far more adjustable than mdi but I know some on here are happy with the mdi system so whatever works for you. Just make sure you dont let it stop you doing anything just because of the condition, if you want to go back to club riding just tell the other peeps your riding with whats going on.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Yep, my mate in Canada is an ex-Norco factory DH team rider and I couldnt see his ‘arris for dust when I last rode with him
The annoying thing is they can tell you where you’re going wrong without even seemingly looking at you!

Killed him on the uppy stuff tho *takes respite* :D

Dont worry about it, I had similar a few weeks back, felt like bambi on ice the entire ride and just couldnt get it together. Went out the next day and had one of those superb ‘when everything comes together’ rides…It happens.

A mate of mine ordered a complete set from HK, came thru within 10 days, no duty or handling fees. Only downside was when I went to fit them for him and they’d sent gear cable wire instead of brake cable  All good in the end though and he saved a few quid.

Go for a scandal over an inbred if buying an On-One – significantly lighter.

That’s subjective bollox, I built my x-cal as SS and at 18ib I found it wayyyy too light and skittish. Plus Steve-o’s swap out thing is shite IMO, massively effects the feel of the frame. Inbred slot dropout ftw….

    All IMO of course

and believe it could be the future ( well mine anyway) composed ride considering full rigid and steers a dream!

You are wrong! I have the best inbred In the world and that’s a fact….so there!

It’s very good for hangovers and it makes your wee go virtually the same colour as when the berocca went in 8O

It’s a mammoth dosage of vitamins, twice as powerful as a standard one, basically you’re just overdosing on vits, hence the wee thing…I gave up on it and just take a bog standard multi vit plus 1000mg of vit c a day and have normal wee now

I seem to attract “suicide squirrel” quite a lot. Not sure if it’s the same little bastid that follows me around or whether they all just have a thing for trying to sprint through my spokes when I’m least expecting it….

OP, I have the LG soundbar that you mention.

Had it for 3 or 4 months now and really pleased with it for the money. Huge improvement on my Samsung TV’s standard speakers and the wireless sub is a great feature if like me, you hate trailing wires. In fact my hifi seperates rarely get used now as I bluetooth music from phone/iPad to the LG and to me thats where this bar really comes alive, I only have a small lounge but the depth of sound and 300 watts are more than enough for my needs. So all in all really impressed, great VFM IMO 8)

£2.50 is fookin’ outrageous 8O I think I paid £1.79 or something, although planning on having that payed off in 3-6 months

They work really well, just be careful not to knock the pin thru too far etc. Gave me perfect tension, WITH the axle exactly where I wanted it in the dropout 5mm out from min so’s it didnt feel like a barge on the handling stakes.

I got my half links from tredz, they do both 1/8 and 3/32, took about a week to arrive but finally sorted out the chain tension issues on my slot dropout inbred. From memory I think SJS cycles sell them too. Have a little google around.

Got a 2.4 up front on my SS rigid 29er, tubeless on a crest rim. Ran it all winter without any issues. For the mullah you can’t go wrong. :D
