Has to be the Naked & Famous – Passive Me Aggressive You. I’ve listened to 1000s of tracks, but that’s the only album I’ve listened to regularly.
My best of tracks are on Mixcloud if you fancy a listen
    http://i.mixcloud.com/CyAeF & http://i.mixcloud.com/CyAfD

Dez, that 2nd link is excellent. Got any others of similar ilk?

They are VERY poor at the moment. Temps or not they need to get their game together.

I’ll only ever use them as a last resort in future, would rather pay an extra couple of quid and go somewhere with better quality of service.

I’m doing this at the moment, got cheapo Merlin 29er wheelset (£79) Reba rl’s (15% discount £270)both just arrived this morning. Wheels seem well built, all the spokes make the same noise on twang test, not the lightest but for that dough I’m well chuffed. :D

^^ Alternatively buy scud’s stuff for better quality/cost saving etc….Bare in mind the cheapest set of tyre I could find were £50 for tyres and tubes.

Good call and will look nice!

Cheers, will mail pics when built up…

matthew_h sounds like a good range of gears, the 36t sprocket will def be a benefit.

Orange tk, to go with the new white Reba’s!

Apple sauce green and white forks woulda been…All wrong

Just couldn’t sacrifice the steel spring for weight in the end so I remain very, very inbred!

tk – Been running 1×9 purely with a jump-stop and 32t singlespeed ring and never dropped the chain on my inbred 26er. Today ordered a 29er inbred and plan on running the same drivetrain and dont expect any difference…I hope!!

Or maybe I’m just not Gnarcore enough to bounce the chain off

need to decide what type of bike and wheel size suits your riding best, not try and just get a 29er as they in vogue and then just try and get it to perform like a 26er anyway.

Which is why we all need a HUUUUUGE stable of bikes. different tools for different jobs :D

I can’t manual for toffee anyway!

    Glad I’m not alone.

tk46hal, yep at long last going for it, but to fair I’ve only been contemplating a 29er for about a year! Rode Khani’s 29er couple of weeks ago and was left with hankering to build :D Ordered wheels and forks last night. Absolutely love the ride of my 26er inbred and dont want to lose that ‘feel’ but my head is telling me raw scandal…Arghhh!

Brant, you guys still doing next day delivery this close to Xmas?

Just bumping this thread back up to where it should be. Was a great place to be a few weeks back but the awesome seems to have nose-dived

Are the n/smokers still polishing their halo’s? Anyone fallen off the wagon and planning the next ‘great escape’?

I’ve been a naughty boy but determined not to apply the New Year empty promise tactic. Having witnessed Khani sucking on the plastic tampon applicator therapy thing I’ve decided to buy one and at £22 for a kit it’s deffo cheaper to smoke, plus you look sligtly less deranged but I’m going in for the kill…If you can make it through the festive bullshit period without a smoke, you’re halfway to the win.

    So what’s everyone’s story? :?:

I killed a bloke once for having a posh bike. buried the bike with him in the woods
(hadn’t seen him ride; didn’t need to. I already knew he’d be shit)

Just worth repeating for being funniest thing I’ve read on here in a while.. )

    I concur

That’s where Speed Dial levers are great, as you can fine tune the amount of cable pull, and therefore the modulation.

+1. SD7’s here and tons of modulation.

Another BB7 user here, as mentioned above spend a little time dialing in the set-up and they’ll reward you with good power and cheap, low maintenance stoppage.

Sending posi’s Sue…If you’ve been laid up with flu and moping around the house feeling ill and low you’re not currently wearing the best suit of armour…Keep your chin up, box clever and remember to play “eye of the tiger” on the way in to work!
