I went from a cheapy merlin 29er set (2400g) minus tape and skewers to pro2 evos on crests 1690g 8O

I still can’t help picking that bike up every time I walk passed it and giggling like a little girl…

Foam roller keeps mine under manners. Should really get some physio but the roller really does do a great job! Start slow and build it up (it’s ok to cry btw- it does **** hurt!!)

A little bit crude and none too scientific but I played around with the links until the jockey wheels/cage were pretty much 45 degrees whilst in biggest sprocket on cassette. Works well for me, never had any issues in 3 years.

Inbred 29er here. Same Geo as scandal I believe, I’m 6′ and went for the 19.5…best fitting bike I’ve ever had :-)

Reading the above makes me realise there is a posi side to being single :D … when I have my kids every other wkend they now think it’s “normal” to have bikes in the house, tools in the kitchen and various bike related para’ dotted about.

Never had a meal in the bath though, just chalked that one up on the TDL.

Acer iconia, had the USB, expandable memory, hdmi out etc which swayed my decision. None of those features ever got used.

iPad is faster, slicker and I find it as easy to type on as a normal keyboard in landscape….awesome bit of kit.

I bought an android tablet a few months ago and loved it….until I got an iPad through work. Let’s just say the android doesn’t come out of sleep mode much nowadays.

I went from recon silvers to Reba RL (except in 29er flavour). The difference is night and day….enjoy! :D

Yep, built this up a couple of weeks ago from my shed parts bin:

Yep had 591 and Halfords advanced…all the same shape and size, 29ers fit fine and seem to clamp the DT in exactly the same place as a 26″ wheel bike.

6′ here, 33.5 inside leg. Had an 18″ 26er, 90mm stem, thomson layback and always felt too small. 29er 19.5 inbred is spot on tho :D

You’re joking!…Rayleigh based, havent ridden Danbury for around 10 years (since taking a jump, landing badly and ending up with grit getting in places you REALLY dont want to get grit, and I don’t mean the bike!) :oops:
