timc- haven’t totted it all up tbh but looking somewhere in the region of £1,600ish give or take. It started life as a an experiment using my 26er inbred as a donor, then grew and I don’t think any of the old 26er components remain. Bought a couple of SH bits off of here, Xt crankset and formula bianco’s but everything else new. Mail me if you’re interested in full spec list.

They’re great as a cheap intro to 29er’s, but once you’ve tried something better you’ll realise its limitations.

What a load of old c**t this thread has become….crashtest above was close, I have friends in America and Canada, 2 of them ex DH factory riders and believe me the same argument does happen in North America too….Everyone rides different bikes for different reasons and yes 29ers are more common out there….My own take from listening to varying views is that if you’re vertically challenged/totally gnarr-core 26ers are the staple…Taller bloke that rides wheels on ground/XC 29er ftw, mix and match that as you will, every size, height, rider, location, want, need, style, desire is different….Analyse what you want from your riding, what kind of riding you do, then make your choice…It’s all bikes, it’s all riding, it’s supposed to be fun….keep arguing tho :roll:

Subtract 45% from original frame value, then minus £1-1.50 per stone chip. Dents and dings come it at around £5-7.50 each and chain suck/any other battle-scars should be factored in at around 20% of whatever you have left…HTH :wink:

They sure are! Bought an LG sound bar with wireless SW couple of weeks back, hifi seperates also now redundant as music now blutooths directly from iPad/phone to soundbar, sound quality to my ears perfecto (for the price)….Marvelous :D
