felt » And the alternative would be ‘in Southern Scotland, near the border with England’?
Does it make such a huge difference?
Well – your statement is accurate for the whole readership of the magazine, the original isn’t.
Regularly stay in hotels, so bought a duff monster bag, and take my bike in the rom with me. Only have to take the front wheel off to fit it in the bag.
Never been told that I can’t take it in the room, or asked what it is.
As long as it has never had a bump and is undamaged and clean then it shouldn’t be a problem. However, be prepared to sell it at a much cheaper price than what you paid for it.

I’m presently sporting exactly the same outfit as the Hoff, and I’m off out for a jog
I won’t be surprised if people on bikes follow you and stare
I hope you’re not suggesting STW’ers would follow and stare at Binners 😈
Had a Pathfinder when we lived in Australia. Did over 130k km in it from new, never had a bit of a problem with it, very reliable. Changed the crappy tyres to some Cooper’s though.
We moved back to the UK after nearly 7 years living in Queensland. Don’t earn quite as much in the UK but found it was becoming expensive to live in Australia anyway. All the family have settled straight back into life in the UK, it’s like we have never been away (apart from the kids having Australian accents!). Definitely don’t regret our time over there and made some great friends, but we are all glad to be back home in the UK.
My work week is much the same as the OP, except my office is in Stoke. My bike goes in the back of the car each week with me, (does my head in staying in hotels all the time!). Been around Cannock about a month ago, well worth a visit.
