Thanks dave, I’m just holding off waiting to see if the Spaniards actually send you a bike rather than hollow promises via email.

    Best Post ride snack EVER.
    You will need:
    A pack of magnums
    A Jar of peanut butter
Its possible you will need a knife if the jar of peanut butter is too small to allow dunking.

I thought nuke proof nutrons were going to be a good cheaper alternative to DMR vaults. I bent the axle on the left pedal on the second time out with them.
Riding Vaults now when not riding psds they have been spot on.

Still got a pair of Azonic Aframes in the garage still going strong but need a few pins changing.

They are terrible for fogging up. No air movement in and around the glasses due to the foam pads that are supposed to stop stuff getting in your eyes.
When they came out the saftey guys at work were trying to push them as the best eye protection becase the foam lip prevents anything slipping in the tops or sides of the glasses however it also stops any air flow behind the lens so they fog up as soon as you climb a ladder.

    -Edit-
Contours for the win £4.90 a pair on amazon in all the different tints you could want

Always used nickwax, Wash in tech wash first, Then while still damp-ish post spincycle proof using spray on. Heat is supposed to help but dont have a tumble dryer so just hung up above boiler.

(i’ve always bought spray on cause you can use it on shell jackets and lined jackets. Wash in you can only used on shells)(screw buying both)

Cant help shorten the list but have you seen this? Similar sort of bike to what your looking at. I’m hovering over the buy button just now. Optional upgrades of BOS fork and shock bring it to £2959.

WOW there are some overly harsh words from some.
Maybe it wasnt the wisest desision but that is what it is to be human. Live and learn you are both alright and thats the main thing. Glad it turned out alight!

Yeah its simple enough. Barb isnt threaded just ribbed (not sure if that’s what you call it) so its just a case of pushing the hose over it. Its just Make sure you get the hose properly seated on the barb when you reterminate or it can let air in and lock the system. You may need to bleed the system if any air gets in. Should only be the odd drop of fluid coming out when you cut/reterminate.

    I second this

“Buy the one that looks best with clothes hung off it – coz that’s what it`ll be used for in a couple of weeks”

IF you do end up using it regularly you will be one of a many few who own home fittness equipment and acctually use it. My other half spoke about how it would be easier for her to do a bit of post work exersise if we had a cycling machine. We borrowed one from her sister (which doesnt get used) and shock horror it got used twice.

Download some of the current fitness trends insanity/px90. you wont use them any more than you would have the running machine but they will take up far less space.

I dont drive like a nun but i’m no boy racer. My last mondeo came with cheap “energy saving” tyres. Drove like they were made of wood. They were pretty bad in the dry and in the wet they were scary!
For the difference of £20 quid per tyre i’d stick with what you know.
