I’m up in Aberdeen. I’ve had it since July. Done a couple of long days in the hills but mostly local trails. No issues so far other than the tyres. I work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off though so if your looking for long term reliability there are alot of people on here that have used theirs more than me.
Pikes with kirk is a really nice set up (but then in the tradition of single track forum, that is the set up that I have there for it must be the best solution).

Pikes up front and kirk in the Rear works for me!!!! Swapped out most of the running gear off my old bike. I changed the wheels too as i was pretty sure the mavic 819’s are made of cheese.

The Geax tyres are S##TE. Nice easy rolling but really thin alot of granite near us mine are in the bin already with massive tears.

I have used myhermes quite a few times recently to post full sus and HT frames no problems any of the times.
There was a recent thread about them but i’ve never had a problem.

Oh i’ve recently sent two frames with them. Really easy to use and a drop off point just a mile from my house. Got emails from the people i sent frames to saying the frames arrived no problem.

I demoed a load of bikes back in spring when considering a new bike. Certainly out of the bikes that I tested it seamed that its harder to find a really bad bike than it is to find a good one.

Its worth the effort to get out and demo if you can, reviews are too open to bias.

Some people will be along to tell you all about how rose tints are better for this and blue is better for that. It may be about 3% that but its 97% about looking cool.

Dirty Dans are fantastic in super sloppy conditions tracks so well. Just dont expect to go anywhere fast on landrover tracks etc, bit like pedaling a tractor.

I tested loads of bikes recently. Of everything i tested Banshee spitfire would have been my second choice. My brother who came along to a few of the bike tests with me wasnt even looking for a bike and ended up buying a spitfire because he liked it so much.

List of things that are not good for dogs
Just before you go filling your dogs bowl with tomatos. I know it says the toxin is metabolized over time so very ripe or rotten tomatos are not much of a risk but is it really a risk you want to take so that you can have nice grass?

2-3 movements in a couple of weeks isnt really enough. Most doctors would recomend 1 good movement a day. This WILL improve your riding and your general feeling of wellbeing.

I’ve got the Normal paper bright (not 3G) its really good. Read loads while offshore(cause i dont watch football).
Cant think the 3G would benifit anyone. As above if you really need to down load something while out you could teather it to a phone. Or nip past a coffee shop wireless.

    Depends on the engine.
The more modern the engine the more fussy they are.

Before going biking a mate of mine filled his tank with petrol from near the red line in his 2005 tdci modeo. He realised just after he’d done it. Phoned a local mechanic mate who didnt seam all that conserned just said go buy some cheap engine oil and fire that in to thicken things up a little and run it and keep topping up with diesel when you get a chance. It will be fine.

    It was fine. No issues

Mondeo engines are pretty rough and ready. so as previously stated depends on the engine

I’m sitting waiting bouncing off the walls waiting for mine!!!!!
I did only order it a week ago.
I rode Cultsdaves demo X-team when he had it. Really liked it even though it was a little big for me.

I’ve ordered it with BOS kirk rear and fox forks, wanted the deviles but couldnt bring myself to pay £460 to upgrade from the fox floats

A FAR better plan is just to eat them. They melt when you dunk them in tea anyway so i dont see any problem

Smartay – It was low. It managed foresty carparks but it had to be slow. Was super stiff so it wasnt plesant but it got there.

Did a trip to fortwilliam for the world cup fully loaded(5people, stuff for a week, bikes and beer). Wore the rear tyres through to the ply. On the way home we were lighter 1 less person and no beer so it was ok.

As standard it would have ridden a little higher and i think it would have been ok.

    Miss it soo much.
