I’m an android guy but I don’t think Iphones are that bad. The only reason I use Samsung is because I have 64gig of music all in personally named folders and iTunes is such a pita to sort them out.

I’m 5 11 ish and have a medium BOTE and I find it a tad small so definitely a large for you.

I had this a while ago and it was the crown race. I had a hope headset and didn’t have the hope crown race. Fitted one and it was perfect straight away even though the old one seemed to fit the lower headset race perfect, but when tightened up it just bound up.

D&D cycles used to do a conversion for their GT frames. It comes in around the same price though. I’ve used mtbtools a few times and he is very reliable.

I liked Silent Hill. Even though it was based on a, very good, game I thought they did a fair job of it.

Yes went out around Woburn and wasn’t feeling it today. Sweating like mad in the sun then bitter cold in the tree shade. It was a ride and bit of cardio so still almost enjoyed it.

I bought fairly cheap trek Farley 5 a few months ago and after all the fatties I’ve had it ticks a lot of the boxes for me. I did have a carbon beargrease which I blutoed which ruined it for me as rover pig says so I’m happy back to rigid and the riding characteristics.

I would be more concerned about what it would be like in a crash. I can’t find an ncap result but I doubt it would be a good vehicle to be hit in. I’d leave it to the grannies popping down the shops than risking my neck in that heap of …..

I’ve got a carbon kona honzo with very short stays and great geometry. Also have a zealous and they are very similar. So either one I would recommend as what you are looking for is what I wanted a few weeks back too.

I’ve had one for a long time and never had a problem with it falling out. It isn’t the easiest to put back whilst riding but I don’t race and so can stop for a drink and a have a breather. It’s a good product I think. I’m not sure what people are doing to have it fall off reguarly. It comes with two sizes of mushroom bolts to fine tune it and the first size I used worked great.

I had one a while back , a 7, it did everything I wanted of it and I also ran 650b plus on it and thought the bike was excellent.

I use an osprey one, can’t recall the name but it carries two water bottles and all I need for my rides and more importantly it leaves my back open to the air.

Just got the kona honzo from the classifieds and am personalising it and getting used to it in Woburn forest. Trying to decide whether to renipple my dt Swiss wheels, buy new ones or put smaller tyres on my hope 35w rims for my gt sensor. If I use the hopes 35w then I lose my plus wheelset for my prime. I’ve bought the new nipples but can’t stop looking at 650b wheelsets! My fat bike needs it’s bb changed as it’s creaking so I bought it then left it in the packet. I just bought a zealous Division frame and built it up with parts from my BOTE but have just stripped it after buying the kona and now have to rebuild the BOTE. I can’t see myself selling the zealous as it rode amazing for the 3 rides I took it out on but i still bought the kona. So lots really…….

I have actually done this exact change, loved the ff29 either rigid or suspension up front. Sold it and bought a niner air 9 and disliked it instantly and never gelled with it. I miss the ff29 but definitely not the niner! It just seemed stiff, way too xc racey, for me, and no where near as fast as the kinesis.

Just to let anyone know if it happens to them. It was indeed the crown race, even though the bearing looked perfect on it obviously wasn’t.i just fitted a hope crown race in place of the ck one and it worked instantly. Thanks guys.

To be honest I do think it’s the top cup area that is binding. I’ve purchased a new crown race and a nuke proof complete top cup so maybe I will have it sorted. Thanks for the advice guys.

Yes thanks guys I’ve realised I’ve got a Chris king crown race and a hope bottom cup so even though the bearing seats beautifully I have just ordered a hope one. See if that does it.

He has responded to my wanted add. We haven’t got around to how to pay yet and reading this I don’t think I will bother!

I’ve had an rx7 for many years and tried an rx8 for just over a year. I got a 56 plate 36000 mile prodrive version. It was ok but the rust, it was like an ongoing battle especially the cills. Join an rx forum you will learn a lot and help you decide whether to spend the money or not.

There is a medium on pink bike right now for sale, a Rothmans one if that’s your size.

Yes the gt is the nicest frame I’ve seen so far and the reviews are good as well, including STW own one. The price is acceptable too including headset and axle so I’m going looking for what colours are available.

I think it might well be a production privee gt as I have a shan and I like the build and paint. Anyone got one?

I’ve looked at them and I’m struggling to pay £700 for one. Maybe the urge to get something totally new is more the issue.

Rx8 is an ok motor, I’ve had a 7 and an 8 over along period of time. I could sit and watch the 8 rust away in front of me.

I drive on average 4 hours a day to and from work alone. Audio books and music chill me out from the traffic. If your like me and like your “me” time alone in the vehicle then stop the car sharing. £10 is peanuts, not worth the intrusion.

I bought a cannondale bote 3 a few weeks ago with suntour raidons on it. I instantly removed and replaced with Kashima Fox’s. Before the last ride I swapped back and was very surprised how good they were around Woburn. They are staying on now.

I had a Stache 7 for quite a while and Strava tells me I rode it more than all my other bikes by far. The geo suited me buy I did end up running 650b plus wheels in it and the 29plus hardly ever came out then. Headsets are a weak spot but other than that it was/is an excellent bike.

I think the presenting is poor. The conversation rarely flows and there are so many silences and awkward gaps. It’s painful.

I had mt2’s a while back after so many people recommending the older versions on here. Bleed screws round off just looking at them and the whole brake looked and felt cheap. Never again. I’d rather use my foot in the spokes.

I had a Huawei honor note 8. I installed Google apk etc and loved it. Far better than the Samsung 7 edge I have now.

I’ve had various plus bikes and full on fatties. As said above it can depend on the terrain but I use mine for when I want a different ride . I took my Prime to CYB last week and rode with the standard 29er wheels then the next day did it with 650b+ 2.8. Much preferred it on the plus wheels .
