I had the earlier stache with front suspension and loved it, wish I’ve never sold it as it was my all time favourite hard tail. I can see this one being a whole lot of fun and if I hadn’t just bought a new bike then I would be down the Trek store…

I had a week or so where nothing happened. Now they are back the same again, 25 blocked as I type. Seems they are changing something again maybe??

I’ve had an MTG 1000 I think it is for quite a while now and battered it on site and DIY and biking, no issues yet but the case is starting to show some battlemarks.

Tried it multiple times in MK but unless you get there 5 mins after they open all the veg has gone and never seems to be restocked. Can’t be bothered to shop there then as will have to go to another place to finish the shopping so now its shops that can be arsed to fill their shelves that get my money.

I hope it doesn’t fade away as it’s part of the furniture now. Wouldn’t know where else to go for this kind of chat, advice and abuse.

Android and chrome, same issues as everyone else. SwiftKey has never worked.  The site is the worst written I’ve ever been a part of. I just don’t understand it when it was excellent before and was the site I used the most.

I’ve used the 3mm spacers and disc spacer kit a few times now and never had any issue with chain line. 3mm can be adjusted for quite easily.

I’ve looked at a few lately and with the seats down I think a bike would fit with wheels on. Google the bills you can get with these early ones before you buy . Kind of put me off them

My dog that I lost two weeks ago. Not that it’s about losing him as he was always my desktop and phone pic.

I’m around your size, a little taller and mine is a medium and fits nice.

I had a Stache on  both wheel sizes and loved it. It was the fastest hardtail id ever had on 29+ and a very playful one on 27.5+. I thought I preferred the smaller wheels so sold it and got a Cannondale BOTE 27.5+ but miss the Stache . So for me I think the bigger wheels are my fav.

I have been looking at getting a merc with this gearbox and all I ever read about are the valve bodies going wrong ending in a large bill. Google it as it’s all over the forums and seems common. Also it depends on what year your going for. Earlier ones, say 2006 are worse than later 2010 etc.

I think I’ve watched all the old shows and I loved the American ones as I like old yanks. I liked Edd and Mike equally. I’ve never understood the hatred for Mike.

I haven’t used my overdraft in two years! That’s rich for me 🙂

AFAIK they are not a recognised quality make.

I just really don’t want to see Roczen come off again, he would break into a thousand pieces

I did this, as a lot of people do, to find the sweet spot for the stem etc when fitting a new set of forks. I kept it like that for months and months and it causes no harm at all.

So slow that it has taken me 5 mins next to open this txt page. I’ve never had it this bad and it’s basically unusable. Whatever they did has royally screwed this site up.

Mine would be, don’t worry about being hurt by other animals as I will protect you so you don’t have to be scared and vicious when you see them.

I’m just about to buy a porsche cayenne and I’m not drunk. After reading the horror stories about the engine reliability I think I need to be!

Thanks again bikebouy I’ve seen a few guys who train and look good on the veggies so I’m really intrigued as to what gains I could make by eating protein from the original source as such. That website looks great

Mtbtools on eBay is a gold mine of adaptor kits. I’ve used him a few times and he seems to have them all.

I’ve decided to try it as since I was 16/17 I’ve weight trained and eaten so much chicken, not so much red meat tbh, that I’m sick of the sight of it. I’ve read that a plant based diet, which I’m kind of building up to, is a healthier and more natural way to eat for various reasons. Thanks for the advice bikebouy.

I’ve got the bell. Can’t give an opinion really as it’s still in the box after 6 months. I will get round to using it but all the reviews I saw rated it and it does look a quality bit of kit.

I’m 5 11 and ride a carbon medium race. I love it have ridden a fair few ht 29ers but this is the best I’ve ridden.

I’ve been using those suckers at work for 30 odd years and they do come in vastly different qualities. A good wood sucker is around £70 so how those rockbros ones are that cheap I don’t know. They must be cheaper suckers, which obviously doesn’t mean they are rubbish but I would prefer woods.

I had some and disliked the wooden feel and the cheap plastic levers. Felt like a huge step down from my hope e4. OK if you can get them cheap but otherwise I’d look elsewhere.

I run 2.8 on hope 35mm wheels on my prime for a change from my normal cb 29ers. I really like the difference and when I’m in Wales I ride one day with one set and the next day with the others. To me I feel faster on the 29ers but it seems to be slightly more agile and more fun on the 2.8’s. (probably unsurprisingly)

I’ve got a Prime which I built up with good parts and it rides lovely. Very fast and plush.
