I would rather be on a beach that has dogs on it than spend one minute with people who dislike dogs.

I agree with his original point though they shouldn’t be allowed to defecate on a city centre pathway , countryside fair enough.

Thanks for all your help it seems to be a gamble which I can’t afford to take, ( I’ve even been looking into aluminium welding just in case) but maybe I will save a bit for a later frame.

Its either the external gasket letting water in or maybe even a weld on the frame. How old are they?

I haven’t got the money for a 2010 so I will have to take a chance on an earlier one as I really want to try one.

The one big thing for me is not being tied to iTunes and its poor support for codecs. I need folder support which will never happen either.

Who wants to invalidate their warranty on a £500 piece of kit and risk bricking it?

I use eBay and paypal quite a bit and have had some bad experiences with them, in your case I can really see you winning and making this guy look a total t**t.

I love to ride, but also love to buy, build and see the finished bike in my version of how it should be, I guess we all do. I guess sometimes the lines get crossed and when the bike looks like new and faultless its hard to spoil it :-)

Ha ha makes me laugh to know I’m not alone, being into bikes probably isn’t our only similar trait!

The whole point of not going apple is for people who want to do more with their machine, personalise, new roms, etc. Not to be governed by a very restrictive os. This comes from an apple fan, but tablet of choice is definitely android. Most things Sony are as cool as apple I reckon after having both. :-)

I have to admit doing it once when I got my dream frame a few years back, a yeti 303. I put so much time and effort, not to mention money, into it I couldn’t bear to see it wrecked, ended up selling it in mint condition :(

Dark Cycles Supernova, love the clear coat version and all seems cheapish until you factor in shipping and the dreaded vat on delivery? http://www.darkcycles.com/

I’ve tried to get to my diaphragm but mine seems to be held in place by two crushed metal inserts where the replacement kit shows Allen bolts so I cannot see a way to remove my old one, so if anyone has an old m/c or sale ;-)

thanks for your help guys I now have to either take them apart or get another m/c, thanks again :-)

You should be able to get hold of a second hand Chromag for that kind of money, i have one and it’s the best in my humble opinion.

i have had staffies for ten years and without a doubt are the lovelist dogs ever! They are also one if only two breeds recommended to be with children but if they worry you then obviously not for you. I have also had a bichon and they are extremely stubborn and have to be properly trained, much harder work than a staff.

Its always good to see how these threads go in whatever direction !! But getting back to the original point why are bikes so expensive? I dont think one person has answered this yet and i suspect we all agree they are!!
