Any Chromag frame for that price is a steal ;) and at least you will have a rare bike on the trails , unlike all the others mentioned !

I had a blue pig x from crc as well . I loved it and it rode beautifully . Wasn’t heavy or poorly finished , when built up Ben my Gf commented on how good it looked and she never bothers to raise her head when I’m playing with my bikes .

My Chromag Samurai, my favourite bike I’ve ever had :)

I’ve never tried it but I think the order of stiffness goes aluminium, carbon then titanium . I have a carbon post in my HT and it still isn’t that comfy !

I’ve had so much bad experience with them that I advise anyone I know and like to stay well away . My partner is in recruitment and has had a lot of dealings with them and their terrible service even extends to how they run their depts and treat people that work for them , both temp and perm .

A VPN hides your IP’s location so when Netflix “looks” at you it thinks your in a different country thus allowing you to access their USA site. I use my mac linked to my tv but i think I’m right in saying you can’t use it if your are solely going through the xbox application.

Lovefilm might be cheaper initially but it isn’t if you start having to pay for their latest releases , Netflix at least is a set price , and once again use a VPN and then it’s far better than Lovefilm !!

The UK version is terrible for content, use a VPN, like Hotspot shield and you can access the american version where the content is tripled. Without that i wouldn’t be using it .

Took my first ever tick out of my dogs head this wkd, rubbed a small amount of vodka on it and waited a min then very quickly out with tweezers . All good now but they are horrible things !!

I agree Butcher, sometimes I’m shocked at the aggressive and rude behaviour of some of the people on here , seemingly to no end but to intimidate someone . I thought our love of one sport would bring people together, not bring division.

Without a doubt a Chromag Samurai, by far the best hard tail I’ve ever ridden, and I’ve had most ,

I’ve had a few pairs of Straitline SC pedals and the build is excellent. They feel good , especially for a slightly larger foot and you can rebuild them literally in a few mins. Sorry I’ve not tried your preferred two , but I’ve had plenty of Spank stuff and it’s always been good quality so I would lean towards the Spikes .

Feel sorry for you mate , seems like a new frame is coming to you . I think the colours look ok , not that it matters a damn when your post was about the crack !!!!

If you sell stuff to strangers below market value then this is bound to happen.
    This ^^ .

Although in this forum I do it as much as anyone . But some people don’t care about the moral aspect , buy a bargain and try to make a profit , natural action for many people .

I had a 2010 one, it built up to a lovely ride , nice quality finish on the frame . I really liked it and would have another. A lot of people say they are too heavy , but the weight means next to nothing when your moving and it’s probably no more than a small tool kit in your backpack . Definitely a good hard tail . Im not so sure about steel not selling well either? Most quality hard tails are made of the stuff again now, so I wouldn’t worry about it !!!

I sold a pair of hope hub adapters on here as 15mm ones , got a message back from the buyer telling me they were qr !! My fault entirely so I refunded him . I told him to keep them as couldn’t be bothered with who pays what on postage and a few days later he has sold them for me and sent me the money !!! Top bloke :)

I just picked up some alu havocs at merlins, seem to ok at the minute. I bought a RF turbine 60mm stem and can’t believe how light and well made it is. I think I’ve had most of the quality stems but this to me beats them all.

That new stang sounds pretty impressive , I’ve owned quite a few muscle cars and however hot they make the new models my heart is still stuck in the real 60’s ones. RIP Carroll Shelby.

I guess with the durability aspect powder coating would be an option , thanks I hadn’t thought of that route .

Ha I know it’s an odd question , but the rims are in excellent condition and are expensive Spank Subrosa in brown and i need black to suit my new frame , and if I sell them and buy again I’m sure to loose quite a lot of money , so was mulling this over in my head as a solution .

Love their hardtails, wouldn’t ever buy such an ugly archaic looking full suss.
