i have recently had both, which worked very well on both counts. The Oros are a little down on power to the XT’s but have better feel and modulation. The XT’s were very powerful and hard to adjust to at first as they felt like a lightswitch ! I got used to the Oros a lot quicker but it all comes down to if you want a perfectly good brake with lots of feel or a brake that bites like a bugger, probably making it feel more powerful, but lacks a little in finesse. Well thats my impression of them both. On preference, i am torn but its not worth swapping from one to the other i dont think. As said above, there must be better areas on your bike to sink the money into !! :)

The fork you’ve found is a good fork if used at around 140mm on your frame so long as your front wheel is a 20mm bolt through and you make sure you get the 1 18th steerer tube version that they are offering .

I ride both too but have swapped mine around for some reason !

Dewalt quality has deteriorated massively in the last few years and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone unless you were only using the tool sporadically . Makita are ok but are nowhere near the quality of Hilti. It all depends how the tool will be used . For home use Makita is enough, but as already mentioned , get 3 amp batteries as its a huge improvement .

After looking at the rear wheel travel you should stick roughly to the 5 inch or 140mm area for forks as those 180mm domains will be too much

I personally like Domains and if that’s the best price you can find that fork at then I think it’s a good choice . Have a good search in the net for that fork and see the prices , CRC are good but not always the cheapest .

I found them cheaper on bike discount.de at the wkd .

1 18th normal steerer domains with motion control would be a good choice in my opinion , they are weighty but are solid, stanchions don’t scratch easily and are very reliable .

But your description of a tapered steerer is correct .

I agree Blazing-saddles , there aren’t many phones I haven’t tried and they all have their strengths and weaknesses but I ended up back with Apple again as the construction doesn’t feel like a child’s pretend first phone .

I’ve got a new Blue Pig X and it’s very comfy , easily as much as my old 456 which was steel as well .

Doesn’t actually help sales though does it when even on the packaging it gives the rrp the manufactures have set the price at and it is a pound dearer.

I can explain a lbs rip off when mine is selling frame protection for more than the RRP .

If you haven’t got tethering allowed by your provider be careful as it uses up huge amounts of data which is easily spotted by them and you could get a huge bill.

I’m interested in this too Jedi as I have a DHX RC4 on mine and it’s too much shock for what I ride I think .

Change a component on your bike and then you will have to take it out to see what it feels like ;)

To be fair my friend had tried many other sources of help but for whatever reason, I’m not completely sure, they had failed. To say other religions are free is a joke , I know many people who go to church and fork out 10% of their wages for the privilege, I’m not religious myself , almost to the point of detesting it as I come from an extremely religious family/ history , so Nealglover you couldn’t be more wrong or insulting . I am trying to give my one experience I have come across of someone who has actually been in it !

I’m no way involved in it but I have a friend who was . He had been heavily drug addicted until he joined them , it ended up costing him around £1000 but their methods worked and he is now drug free. He says they are very good but use them for your own benefit , if you have the need, and don’t get too sucked in as they can be quite demanding of your time and finances . I have seen a change in his personality which is very much for the better so I am now open minded on them .
