The best quality stem I’ve ever had was a new RF turbine , beautifully finished and so light . By far my fav and I’ve tried most of the top quality expensive stems .

As argoose says , check the piston movements as it needs to be equal as poss and apply to the disc at the same time . Do the Hope trick of evening the pistons up by applying the brake and holding the disc against the easy moving piston to force the other to come out and see how sticky/slow stuck it might be.

I always thought it was due to poor calliper to disc alignment ?

I don’t think so, I’ve never heard of one. What hubs have you got? They might make adapters for them.

Yes I understand your struggle lol but I’ve always wanted to try one and so I’m trying to make it more trail friendly than gravity . I think the Talas is a good idea , it’s just I don’t want very heavy free ride forks on it , like 66’s, as for my riding it might be too much . I do appreciate your advice thanks

As I say they are new so I can’t see it being a hose expanding , but you are correct I must not be removing all the air but I’ve tried everything but the lever always comes to the bars !It’s driving me nuts !!!

It works as advertised , well at least for me in my weight training . It gives you a bigger pump and keeps you going longer and harder and so long as you cycle one month on then one off , which is recommended , then it’s safe and the only side effects I can find are a bit of dehydration which is simply cured .

I had one a while ago , 16gb , and the screen and os were very impressive , I’m considering getting the 64gb one but I can’t find a good review on OS10 !

I’ve owned 2 X’s, lovely feeling special frame , looks great in dark blue and I had no quality issues with either . At CRC prices I don’t think you can beat them with all the frames features . But I would definitely get an X .

I had a Scott America , I think it was called ? A huge tubed alloy hard tail which got sold for a Proflex 955 which I fell in love with on the cover on MTBR , I think !

I read a lot about people cracking their frames on here , whatever the material, and many complaints about bike companies not honouring their alleged warranties . Are there many people out there who have had a good result with these manufacturers or are the warranties on mtb’s not worth the paper they are written on ?

My staffie is soft with people and dogs . I agree that dogs can show their inbred traits but to say every one of them will is utter bs. My dog is nearly 10, in that time he has been attacked while on the lead by a boxer , two labs , and a collie and he has never fought back . A dog is like many things , a product of its upbringing . A staffie or similar type is going through a bad press at the moment for reasons that are mainly image related but they are no more dangerous than any other fit , powerful dog .
Scunny, show him bundles of love , mine gets lots of cuddles and kisses everyday , and he will be a lovely fun dog for many years . Socialise him early and make one person his total boss , they normally bond with one person fully, you lucky bugger ;)

Scunny that is a beautiful dog , I have had staffies for years and I adore them and will never own another breed . Good luck with him , I envy you , you can’t beat a staffie type puppy !!

I thought about a Sunnto as well but ended up with a G Shock tough solar/atomic . £250 but never needs batteries or the time setting , you can see it in darkness, is very tough , sensible size and as I don’t climb mountains or need a barometer I thought it fitted my needs better .

Pilates is very good for stretches and lower back , look into it see what you think ? I’ve been doing it on and off now for a few months and it helps . My problem sounds very similar to yours .

I don’t , I came from motocross and the natural progression /regression was mountain biking . Never had any appeal to me , bikes on the road , engine powered or not !
