Last time these were discussed the point of uv was brought up and most people said the cheap lenses protected you fine as the plastic used was uv rated.I have both and you can just tell the difference but the cost is the biggest factor.

I’ve had a few pairs from crc with no complaints at all.

I’ve had saints and really liked them but not as much as my old straitline ones which were faultless.

I was interested in one of these, but all I could ever find out about them was they rode ok but were way too heavy for all day riding so I gave it a miss.

Thanks guys my frame is a 2010 yeti dj that I want to fit front gears on for trail use so it has iscg mounts but I keep reading everywhere about the bb facing and such and wondered if it was crucial or just able to get around it.

I know what your getting at as I was in a similar position a while back. I settled on an old intense 5.5 with pro pedal as it’s light, to me, and rides so well it feels like a ht in some ways but doesn’t batter my back like my bfe!

I used to have a samurai, that was a lovely frame. Chromag know their stuff. Soul doesn’t compete I don’t think.

I used np hubs for a while and I liked them. Seemed similar to hopes with the adaptors and such and felt like a quality product.

I’ve a medium bfe at 5 11 and I’ve ridden some very expensive steel frames, chromag samurai for instance, but out of all of them I will be keeping this one for awhile yet!

Cool plays on my s3 ok so not sure why it doesn’t on a tab.

Have the best of both worlds like me, get a powerful android phone and put a w8 skin over the top, free and takes 5 mins, then it acts very similar to w8 and has the benefits of android.

Just back, was very busy but not as many manufacturers as I expected, doubt very much I will go again.

I used a plastic tyre lever by sliding it across so both ends of the lever were protruding and then used both hands to force it back , worked fine on my new shimanos.

Both newish batman games, made you have to think in a totally different way to be successful.
