I had an almost new 4wd sapphire back in 94 and it was tuned to 400bhp, rolling road verified. I remember not much could stay with it and I did have some great races with a TVR and a new jag xk. The police came round one day and said they had knowledge that it was going to be stolen and set up cameras etc in my house. Never happened thankfully. I also had a rare 205 gti 1.9 TT conversion that was my first performance car. That was surprisingly fast for the time too.

I’ve seen some on ebay so no returns there unfortunately! If your a size 10.5 they are still available.

Well as I know you’ve all been waiting with baited breath, here is my decision after the test drive. I drove a fairly top of the range manual and loved the look, even the cheap interior but the distinct lack of power was not for me. It wasn’t a surprise as such due to the fact I can read the performance figures but in reality it’s shockingly poor. So it’s a no from me.

It does show that the structural integrity isn’t all that to be fair.

Yes definitely don’t crash in one. 3 stars is poor for a modern vehicle but average for that size and shape of car.

Yes I’ve saw that Schmeg150 video. I have found one to lease locally but it’s test drive first of course.

Yes thanks I know they are hard to get hold of. Crazy they aren’t importing in larger numbers.

You can go to online phone network companies and get almost any phone for any network. I did it a while ago with a Samsung galaxy note Edge. No issues at all.

I’ve got the bolt , been using it for a few months . It is the simplest , clearest most long lasting computer I’ve had. I think it’s excellent.

Just sold a Cross bike with Spyres as they were no better than a twig in the spokes. New gravel bike has 105 discs and I can now stop in all weather’s with no effort. Its just works and works consistently and safer.

I’ve got an immaculate 2016 Prime which I built up with all top parts and it is an excellent trail bike. It glides over rough trails and climbs well too. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s only a scratch through the black paint. So that touch up might work thanks. I tried a black marker and it came out blue compared to the stem colour.

You can get a 30mm rotor bb for way less than a zee crankset. I have both and the e13s are lovely and I’ve had zero issues with mine on my Prime.

Llandegla is my local now. I’d chose CYB everytime but then I’ve always loved it there.

I have a few pairs of the adjustable production privee ones and they are thick, comfy and don’t ever seem to wear.

I will be doing this very soon and changing the air shaft for the later red ended one. So I’m sure it will happen to me so thanks Simon 👍

I bought a bike recently with the lowly shimano m396, I think they are. They work perfectly for normal trail riding and I’m not going to swap them out for e4s now until they give up. I’m well happy with them!

@groundskeeperwilly https://www.outdoorgearlab.com/reviews/biking/downhill-helmet/bell-full-9. Also in a few other reviews as well. I’ve actually made a snap decision and bought the carbon full9 on offer on Amazon. It was £50 approx cheaper than the super dh. If I don’t like it then it can go back and I will check out the super.
I think on a hot day the super dh would win easily.

Yes I like it for that, I already have a 3r. But every review I read states the Full 9 is a safer more secure helmet. That’s the confusing bit as they both have the same certification.

There are no shortcuts, never have been. It takes time, hard work and a strict diet if you want to look good and be strong. I’ve been weight training for 35 years and will never stop. If I am short of time then using my cage is more important to me than a ride. Get recommendations of a good local PT and tell him /her what you actually want. Stick to it and you will eventually be able to keep it going alone.

I’ve just bought a new fugio, the white one from 2018. Lovely to look at, I have changed the rear mech and cassette up to a 42. My genetic bars are turning up tomorrow, 480 wide, with new tape. New skinwall tubeless setup. Then I will wait 2 months until my thumb injury is better before I can ride it……. I will tell you what its like then!

I’ve had a few but I recently bought the evoc one. It’s huge, sits tight against my back and I can hardly feel its there. Very recommended.

I second the chameleon. Easy to get it under 3 grand and mine takes 27.5 plus, 29er plus and with a change of drop outs 29er.

Yep. Got my right thumb caught in my dogs mouth, lost the top of it. Rushed in for an op and nail removed and top sewed back down. Thumb is wrapped the size of a melon so sitting here looking at the new bike i got delivered two days ago and haven’t been on yet

3mm either side and a 6mm disc spacer. Used this combo for over a year with no issues.

I think it’s 50/34. I’ve already got a new rd7000 gs mech and longer chain to up the rear to either 40 or 42 but I would like around a 30 front as I want the bike more for off road than road.
