I can understand people buying them if they like the feel, personally I don’t, but for the companies to go on about how great they are and then a few years later tell us all their faults to try to sell us yet another wheel size is just beyond me . They are total w******!

This is just b/s. What new standard will arise next to take our money then suddenly be abandoned ! They must think we are bloody stupid !

Binners you do talk some automotive crap! It’s obvious you hate American cars/bikes but to say they all handle like tankers is very ignorant. I could take you out in my friends 2012 vet and take you around corners so fast in the thing you would s*** yourself. Remember most of these cars were designed for totally different roads to ours and its only lately they have been trying to sell competitively in our market and even then not strongly.

Very interesting thread this. On the strength of it I’ve just bought a second hand experia mini pro which isn’t water proof but does have ant+ so I can connect a hrm. all of this comes in a lot cheaper than a bryton etc so thanks guys.

This is going through my mind at the moment too ! I’ve been trying to make a cove hummer suit me as I was getting a bad back and aching wrists which I nearly cured with higher stem and riser bars. I’ve just got a soveriegn which straight away doesn’t give me wrist ache but I’m unsure as to the differences between the two frames. As its been said above its all trial and error with a little experience thrown in , and the collective hive knowledge. Parts can be very cheap on here second hand and I’m sure you will gain enough expertise to know one way or another about set ups.

I’ve seen his ads too but luckily he is near me and I did ask him once about an item and he was up for a meet at his place . So maybe he isn’t dodgy ?

I did think the punch wouldn’t hurt it due to the animals size, it just wasn’t a nice thing to see as although not a horsey person I love animals.

I’ve just bought a cove hummer frame and felt exactly the same , one ride and my wrists were aching. To help combat it I fitted a high riser bar which has made a world of difference . I’m now weighted to the rear more and popping the front over things is much easier! If I find very steep climbs too difficult I might have to admit its not the right frame for me.

I’ve used creatine many times in the past to fuel heavy weight training sessions. It’s natural and not harmful, it’s been tested a lot, and definitely helps. Other than that you need lot of clean healthy carbs, cut out a lot of heavy fats and try to motivate yourself with small personal goals. I know it’s easier said than done!

If your that bad maybe a chat with the doc, see if he has any suggestions? Maybe there is a vitamin complex you can take that might fight it?

Try to get out, the first bit of actually moving is the hardest but once your on the bike see how you feel. If your not into it then pack it up for the day. If you feel ok just don’t over stretch yourself.

Hi chris the rear is roughly 1320mm measure on the bike. If that length is ok for you then I can take some pics and email you them. Cheers.

£60 posted crispy. they are long enough for a medium fs frame with wide bars and 150 forks and virtually unmarked.

I’ve had a bfe, it was ok, I just fancy something different and no one seems to have a steel frame that suits so I’m starting to look at ali ones.

I’m finding cheaper Stiffees than chameleons so I think the choice is made on that score!

Ive had numerous over the years and enjoyed most of them, but if they go wrong the higher than normal bills are simply not worth the just above standard drive imo. RIP my lovely 166 super lusso!

Try aligning the calipers to the discs very carefully and making sure the pistons are coming out as equally as you can get them to.

I guess it all depends on how much you value your dogs safety. I would never expose mine to such a dangerous environment. Well trained or not dogs can be unpredictable.
