I recently rode the dragons back and the beast on a rented Trek Farley . It was a huge laugh and the food in the cafe is first class.

Aesthetically its awful but i presume the finished article would look better?

No permit needed just £4 if and when a warden catches you. Or its £15 to ride as much as you want until end of Dec.

I know people who do ss there bit I’m not fit enough to. The sand can/does play havoc in your gears in wet conditions so ss isn’t such a bad idea sometimes.

i live here and yes its well worth it. Take £4 with you as the wardens are out in force at the moment. lots of single track to find and pretty difficult to get lost as your either high up and near the carpark or low down and near the jump area. I’m going in the next few hours.

cynic-al what wheel are you putting in to need and spacer/adaptor?

I’ve just gone fatty after renting one for two days at CYB I liked it that much. I’m learning on tarmac they kind of suck but as soon as your off road they are great and I’ve resorted to just smashing through everything and holding on. It’s a whole new world I tell you…….

I’ve just sorted it at last. A complete strip down and reinstall and really took my time over the tension and the b tension especially and at least in my stand it seems to be working .

Yes mate definitely. I always struggle setting up full outer gears but can do sectioned ones in minutes . I’m going to do a full install again and see what happens. I’ve wound out the adjuster on the shifter so much now to make it change one gear for one click that it feels like it will explode!!

    Thanks for the help.

    Cheer’s will try that .

Yes mate I’m sure on that. I’ve just had it all apart and can’t see anything wrong. It seems to work marginally better with lots of tension from the shifter adjuster. ??

The cables are new and good quality but I will check them again. I’m pretty sure they slide smooth as a babies bum .

Yes the wheel is correct. Hangar visually checked and looks good . I’m thinking it must be down to incorrect length of outer affecting the mech?

    fd3chris

Yes the mech is brand new literally one ride old on my former hardtail.

It’s a new frame so I’m guessing its good. Is there any change indexing with a full run of outer compared to a sectioned one? I’m thinking not but I can set up gears easily with the latter and always struggle with the former !

I cannot believe there are some people on here who think a Skoda VRs is a quick car, never mind able to keep up with a scooby! Bloody Skodas are not performance cars. They are mildly modified shopping cars!!

I’ve had almost every phone out there. Currently running a Sony xperia z ultra which is the big version of the z. It is the same phone more or less just a much bigger screen. While I love big phones (phablet) I have not had such a glitchy phone software wise for a long while. If you constantly use the flap for the charging it will stop it being waterproof, Sony basically admit this hence the magnetic charging which isn’t a touch on say the macbook setup as it’s way too fiddly to get the connection right. Although I like the phone, sounding a bit negative about it I know, I won’t go back to Apple as I don’t like dumb downed phones. Both are good but both are far from perfect.

@Simon I’m getting exactly the same thing today and last night. Ive tried windows, android and iOS machines to no avail and I’m looking for a set of 29er forks so I’m well frustrated!! :)

I worked there for two year in the late 80’s and was astonished at their lack of health and safety then. Consequently I’ve worked in this country for a few German companies and it is a veneer as said previously about their work ethic. When I was in Germany it was the time of the wall coming down and the difference between east and west Germans was huge compared to the west and us.

OK it’s just as I’ve said my forks bob like mad when I’m stamping on the pedals and it’s driving me nuts! I will give them a go mate my email is in my profile to sort out payment.

Thanks I’m looking for a fork that doesn’t bob when I stand and pedal. These haven’t got any compression damping as such so can you make them plush on small bumps but still resist pedal bob? Thanks
