Mine were the same if you don’t mean tubeless. It’s an easy fix. Pump up to at least 35-40 psi and they will seat into the rim either straight away or in a few hours.
Help needed please on roller choice. I’ve looked at a few and they all seem to be slightly too small in wheelbase size for my fatbike or even my large 29er.they all state they fit 700c obviously so with the 10-20mm size problem am I being too fussy and they will work? Cheers
I’ve got two and they are excellent. The shift is very fast and positive and if set up correctly the drag is tiny if any. The weight increase is minimal over a double and bash, IMHO they have lots of positives and one big negative, the price.
I think non smokers should be allowed to shoot on sight any smokers they spot on certain days of the week. That would stop most smokers actually smoking on those specific days then all we have to do is gradually work out way up to the full seven days and week and hey presto everyone is “cured”.
I’ve got a pair of m820’s that I’ve used on different bikes over the last six months. They are hanging up now but I found them excellent brakes regardless of rotor size from a carbon ht to a fat bike.
I’m new to this light stuff but is there a head torch that is enough for off road with no separate battery pack or do I need the extra power of one? Thanks
I had a pair of Mt2’s and could never get a good bleed and they were new. Always felt spongey and as said above the plastic bleed screw stripped. Cheap and nasty and not as good as earlier magura brakes i don’t think.
I got my old asr7 out of the cupboard this wkd and couldn’t believe how skinny and frail and odd the wheels looked.I think I’m a bit of a chubby chaser ;-)
My local Evans ( MK) gave me excellent service the other wkd. Free removal of my cranks and you can’t say fairer than that! And ffs I can’t believe you guys having a go at the OP for forgetting a brake mount.
I’m a serial phone swapper. I’m currently running an iPhone 4s, Sony xperia ultra z which is the biggest phone out there I think and a Nokia 1320. All got their strengths but the one I feel most at home on is the Nokia. ( says he typing on the Sony ( it’s water proof and I’m in the bath :-)) app store wise there is less gumpf on windows but you do need a little imaginative thinking sometimes to get the app you want. Still well worth it IMHO and a lot of reviews you see nowadays extoll WP.
Yee there is. A guy on PB machines a couple of adaptors to enable you to do just what you are asking. Not cheap though at £40 odd but it looks very well made.
I’ve just gone fat about three weeks ago and my Yeti asr7, Ibis Tranny and Salsa Spearfish haven’t been used since i got it. its simple , different and lots of fun.
Yes I’ve gone 30 front and 36 rear now all zee ( wonder where I got that idea from)and apart from tubeless I cant do much more unless spending silly money which is erm……silly. Yes I’m away again surprise surprise will let you know when I’m back mate.
I’ve done all the OP’S planning to do plus ive gone 1×10 from 2×9 and even with a dropper post I’m now very happy with the weight. Feels light to pick up and even better when your rolling. BAGSTARD you lazy bugger push harder
I just ordered a fatty rolling frameset from them. A few calls to confirm what I was getting and it all arrived in time with no problems apart from Yodel decided I had a “back porch” which was my garden and launched the box of wheels over a six foot high fence and ten foot into the garden. If I could only meet that delivery guy……..
