To me a bike is about fun and the most fun I’ve had in ages is on my fatty. The speeds have probably dropped but I’m no world class rider anyway. I just have to look at mine and a grin starts. It’s not to replace any other bike but what it does is make me giggle like an idiot.

i guess it was a little one man show but Dungey always frustrates me as he has the speed and talent but seemingly no aggression to go with it.

I had this exact same problem many many years ago when I was a lot more hot headed. I ended up picking up the offending poo and leaving it all over the guys car roof, doors bonnet etc. Literally seconds after I had finished I saw him go out to his car for something and he noticed the mess on it and for some reason he ran his hand thought it. The dog never ever fouled mine or anyone else’s garden again.

it says on the advert the tyre size is 2.1 to 2,2 tops. not sure how big that comes up compared to a 26 and a 2.35 or something.

look at nukeproof they do a headset for 44 to take that size.

Thats a great buy . the head tube being 44mm also means you can fit any fork in there as well . ( apart from full 1.5 obviously ).

Not a riding incident but I stayed in Morpeth for work in the old court house and had terrible nightmares while there about strangling someone. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling I was alone in a very dark bad place. I googled it after and the place had some bad history as well as being next to a cholera hospital.

I’ve got two 26 and when I tried a 29 I was amazed at how far and fast it rolls and what speed I could manage not only on my local trails but on the roads getting to it. I ended up buying a salsa spearfish and with the small travel and big wheels I’ve never been as fast. Although I’ve now found fat love and it does seem to be the other end of the spectrum, lots lots slower but equally as much fun . So I would agree that 29ers are a huge difference but I haven’t tried a 650b and doubt that a middle ground , as such, could be much more than a compromise. But as I say I haven’t tried one yet.

i have used most in the past and i can assure you Yodel are probably the worst I’ve ever seen , beyond belief ( left a bike frame in the street by my front door and made up a delivery signature ) . How they are still around amazes me. i think even for a few pounds more Parcel force are worth it, I’ve sent frames all over europe and never once had a problem. i think of the extra cash as a little peace of mind but I’m sure people have had poor experience with them its just i haven’t .

be careful with the ginger . start with a slim slice then build up as it is surprisingly strong and will burn your mouth. i speak from experience .

I’ve been juicing for about two years now and love it. I think you will find most juices are based around an apple base and spinach/kale then whatever floats your boat. i have an apple and ginger shot first thing then a large apple/spinach/lime/ginger/pear/cucumber which makes a green juice . the red juice is apple/carrot/raw beetroot then blended with blueberries . get yourself a book the combos are huge. they don’t recommend leaving a juice much longer than a day if being made by a centrifugal juicer as it creates heat in the making which affects the veggies. i use a slow juicer which is a little better and my juices can last a few days but I’ve found the best taste is make and drink with ice cubes straight away. Just like I’m doing right now :)

The most impressive brakes I’ve owned are my 2013 codes and I’ve had a lot of brakes . I know all about peoples aversion to avid but even the review on here says they are spot on and I’ve run them on quite a few builds with no maintenance and think they are fantastic. Second to them were my 820 saints which were good and my hope evo tech x2’s are impressive too.

I’ve been looking into this for a fatbike frame and it seems most of the companies you see selling this carbon don’t actually make it as the styles can be the same throughout differing sellers. I’ve read of plenty of happy fatbike owners on mtbr using these people.

Its been relisted as he didn’t mention in the ad that the iscg tabs were broken off. I guess I should of zoomed in on the picture but as the description states minor wear and tear I didn’t expect it. He refunded me quickly but not without a little bit of verbal .I guess for the money it wasn’t bad but I don’t like damage and I would of put a h/s on it.
