Yes mate thanks ? I’ve seen various ways to keep the iscg adaptor in place, some people have even got away with just a tight bb. I just fancy having a 29er with it on, just wish the bb was already 68mm it would be a lot easier!

I’m sure self adhesive ones will be fine, sold by most bike shops or even the bay.

Take out the b screw, remove the plastic black thing it screwed into and you will get that bit more adjustment. I’ve done it on two conversions now.

If it is waterproof who cares if it’s a fake. Try it out in the sink without the phone and see if it’s water tight.

I have one of these, a 2011 sl and everywhere I read people are making them 650b. I’ve got the wheels from my hardtail and I can confirm they fit. I’ve put a 2.3 in the rear and my forks easily take that size too. It ups the bb height but lots in the mtbr forum say it’s a great ride. That is updating it in my eyes!

sounds to me like he could have a potential buyer for the whole bike and is hedging his bets now.

@Eddie11 cheers ? I’m going to keep experimenting as I did like the smoother parts of the ride as it was light and very direct.

I’ve got the enve dh on my fat bike. Very good and they fit me well and are definitely my favourite bar.

The frame is an ali FF29 recently got off of here with a cheap as chips carbon fork with a 2.2 tyre up front. Niner flat ali bars and thin renthal grips.

Thanks guys looks like I will have to get a bigger front tyre to start with.

My oo is lighter than a standard trek Farley 6 but of course you could do all the mods and get the trek a bit lighter as most have done with the oo.

I rode a 6 at cyb for two days on hire and then bought an oo fatty off the back of it. Mine has carbon forks, drilled rims, carbon bars etc and honestly there is no difference. It is definitely not worth the 300 pounds “upgrade” imo.

I bought some fat grips from them from eBay and they are very good. First time for me and I will be using their stuff again.

You definitely have my old bike lol I only sold it due to it not suiting my short forest rides but to be fair I hardly rode it. Neither did he in the time he had it.

I actually sold the bike to the guy in sudbury. He owned it a few months and passed it on as it day too big for him.

Don’t worry about the squeaky shock I rang up tftuned about it and they said that model of shock can be squelchy due to the oil returning back through the valves. So long as it is working fine you have no issues.

I’ve had various models of cb wheels over the years and never had one issue. I love them for their strength, looks and ease of tubelessness!
