I’ve ridden it once for an hours off road ride thinking it would sort it but it didn’t. I need some more fluid and I will try the painting and leaving it on its side as well. Surely being a bliss setup it should of been simple . ?

@crashtestmonkey I know where you mean and that side is the sandier dryer side but I much prefer the other side but I went there sunday gone and it was pretty rideable.

Some are Rik some aren’t. Same geo but not same welder .Taiwan versus Canadian hand welded. Boost rear and maybe enough clearance for 650 plus. That’s a whole lot more interesting than the first model.

I’ve got some and my lowers came off with the bolts turning anti clockwise I’m sure of it.

Are there any vids of mtb rides where you can “join in” like the plethora of road cycling ones which bore me to death? I do find the turbo hard work but watching guys road ride just finishes me off.

It’s the company’s woeful attitude and terrible cs that would guarantee them not getting my money.I sincerely hope the owners on here have a great experience with them and don’t get any issues,I just didn’t have the cojones with parting with my hard earned.

I’ve got twenty6 predators which are ok, e13 which are ok and spank spikes which are ok. Vaults are less than ok . Look cheap feel cheap and didn’t last at all. Going to buy some chromags for a try this week.

I got a mips poc in a sale for £80 so extra cost wasn’t an issue and it’s an area I don’t mind spending on.

@honourableGeorge I don’t mean hard to try to make it go in I’m talking about gently and you hear/feel the start of the thread then spin it the right way and it starts.

I’ve had this before and by turning the bb cup the wrong way a few times it normally finds a start. Good luck.

@rickon it doesn’t feel it when you ride it at all although I do like to try to keep my bikes under 30lbs,and now I’ve just put a boingy front end on the salsa it’s heavier than the oo but I now should be rocketship fast 🙂 the bike that’s being offered above is in lovely condition and was treated well. You wont find a better spec one for sale for that money.

I always run mine at the shortest and always wheelie everywhere.

I have a nice slim jim so I know how you feel about the bike. I love mine and have never ridden such a fast and fun and nimble 29er.

I’ve had a few over the years and still think they are the best . It’s Chromag for me and I’d love one of their fatbikes but my stylus will have to do.

I use bands in my cage when pressing they work well.

27.6 lbs for beargrease and 31.6 for the fatty with dropper.

I’ve got both,an on one and a carbon beargrease.there isn’t that much weight difference if I’m honest and imo they don’t ride too too disimilar either. Both with 4″ tyres around late 20’s to early 30’s in weight and both good for trail riding.

Smashed off my 10sp xtr mech yesterday on a twig and wasnt going to go out again today (strop on) but I slapped on an old slx and spent an hour sliding up down and around in Woburn. I never realised it was the last ride of the year so I’m well glad I got out now!

I’m not an Xmas type but some of my best ever nights were on nye and I still love it now .

Look on merlin as they have some good deals on 27.5 forks. Air is good imho. Normally light and easier to adjust to body weight etc.
