Mmmm I guessed something was wrong with mine.

I’ve tried that with a compressor and the strength needed to slide the tyre over to the bead is way too much. Something is wrong somewhere as I’ve seated loads of tyres tubeless and never had this. When you deflate the tyre it still stays locked into the bead and the tyres collapse in on themselves. Very weird to see it happen and the only way to shift the tyre off the bead is with a flat screwdriver. No tyre lever ever could manage it.

I’ve tried mine the right way a few times and it’s almost impossible. The tyre fits over the rum easy enough but to get it into the bead has run my patience dry!!!

Anyone having troubles fitting bridgers to Alpkit rumpus rims? Mine are so tight to seat in the bead I’ve snapped all my levers.

5 11 and had ages ago a medium. I thought it would be small on me but it felt good. I never felt cramped on climbs and loved the frame.

I just bought a niner air 9 and it’s a good ride. Climbs very well and is close to your spec.

The git has digital stabilisation which works a treat and an lcd screen and matches the yi easily on 1080 and beats it on 1440 and 1296 res. It loses out 6fps on 2k but that is it.

I’m using the git 2 pro. It works well and was just over £100 with all the mounts and straps etc.

With threads like this cropping up again can you imagine what the frames are worth second hand when you definitely have no warranty? Buying one new is like burning cash. They should of stuck to hardtails, or just gone under and done us all a favour.

I enjoyed that! 🙂 its good to see it with “real” riders like myself instead of pros . Thanks .

I’ve read that for accurate reading you need to wear a chest band. The sensors on most watches that read the blood thru your wrist get quite inaccurate during high levels of activity.

I will definitely be looking at that.

Ah OK that makes sense thanks. I’m not really liking that with the delay as well.

I’ve got a carbon beargrease and I think it’s a really good , fast light trail bike fatbike. Fitting blutos to it made it excellent.

I don’t understand what he means by having to hold the seat down while you release the button to lock it in place. Don’t you just release the button with the seat at any height and it locks? How can you hover and hold it where you want it while riding?

Yes I hope he does. Not everyone connected with Evil , in whatever loose way, can be as poor as them.

That’s building into a nice looking fat bike. Good colour combo.

Thanks. I’m not bothered about apps as I never use them apart from connecting my garmin which I see windows 10 has. I know ms are about to produce a surface phone so the prices of the current lumia is coming down so I was tempted.

Yes the fork lol I’m not sold on rigid so £450 for a niner fork probably won’t happen. And your bang on the fork was repayed by yours truly and the decals were £6. Worth a punt to make it look better as the forks were originally black and didn’t match the frame at all.

It was pit together mainly from my parts bin so it’s as it is. Flats for me everytime and the spacers are there to help with my poor back . It rides well though and I’m sorting the brakes very soon as they were the only adaptors I had to hand on sunday.

I’ve got a Shan 917 27. Lovely quality and built easily into a really agile fast bike. I’m 5 11 on a medium , should probably have gone large but I can throw it around easily. Much better at going down than up in my experience. It might be a keeper, but for me that’s a rare thing .

I can live with the wheels as they were off of the classifieds and are in excellent condition.

Well done xcstu you win…..well nothing but well spotted. I bought the frame as a quick spin round the woods bike and remembered I had some carbon planet x forks so it took me a few hours and some paint and decals to match them up to the frame. I doubt it will be long before some bounce is put in their place .

I was there for a whole week last week and loved every day riding. I did bits of everything due to missing too many signposts but I’m sure you will have a great time. The guys in the bike shop are spot on too. Steve swapped my bb spacers around for free just to try to sort out my chain line .

I recently went through this and I’m very sorry for you mate. Take it a day at a time and eventually the pain calms.

Ha ha I’m googling the pice new. Starts at just over 31 grand but this was lifted with huge wheels and that paint so how much is anyone’s guess.

Sorry it’s only a Google image of what I saw but it was identical. It was like a car a child had drawn with everything exaggerated but it did make me smile and think I bet that’s a laugh to drive .

@ zippy why do you think there are jealous undertones ? You’ve asked a load of mtbers what they would do in your position and you haven’t liked the replies. As said above its not cycling , so you’ve asked the wrong group of people if you want likes.
