I’m a little disappointed that they won’t confirm the ability to use 3.0 tyres. It’s available to order now but it still says 3.0 to be confirmed?? What’s that all about?

Yes last year I stayed in very old apartment in Morpeth and had a ghost/spirit whatever experience. Never had it before and not willing to endure it again. And no I’m not the type to believe I’m them either until now of course.

Thanks Northwind sounds good. Now just to find either new or second hand.

Bonesetter your right about the headset. Mine was grumbly on my 7 and when I took it apart the lower race was shot and rusty as hell. I replaced it with an cartridge acb and then it pours all day……

Look for the Samsung gear s original watch. I had one for nearly 2 years and it was a good bit of kit.

I was hoping to spend about the dune cost and slowly upgrade from there. I have 99% parts right now apart from wheels and I thought the dune wheels were ok? It seems the choice between the wazoo and dune is quite tight.

Alien isolation was a brilliant game. I finished it and loved every minute.

I’ve used winstanleys and never had a problem.

I’m thinking about getting back into fatbiking and these two models fit the bill. Which one would you suggest is the best to slowly but fairly inexpensively upgrade over time ? Or am I better off getting a second hand fatty? Thanks.

The forks seem to vanish in comparison to the size of the frame tubes. They look like 28mm uppers!

Another one for the Chromag Trail master. Comfy and durable and looks good.

Yes I have had it all apart and after a bit of googling I’ve found Trek in their wisdom used a semi cartridge bearing for the lower. I’ve just bought a full cartridge acb FSA bearing with the right angles. Now to find out if it’s too thick etc. Thanks for the help.

It’s not loose bearings I’m being a bit misleading there. It’s a race wirh balls in it with a ring lower cup to cover them. The upper is a cartridge which I want to repeat in the lower .

The lower is very muchike this .

Thanks but the trouble is its a loose ball race in there and I want to replace with a cartridge one.

I think a lot of people won’t buy one due to the ant+ non connectivity. Bad oversight in my opinion as I would of bought one recently but ended up with a garmin forerunner 230 as I was not buying another heart rate strap and cadence etc.

I can’t help with the hr part but I used the fenix 3 for riding with a hr strap and it was faultess. Recorded rides and uploaded very quickly.

I’ve got bonty chupacabra on my trek and they roll fine but they aren’t the best for mud etc. So if you don’t want two wheelsets you might well end up wanting two tyre sets.

I’ve got a 650b plus hardtail. I really like it as it makes you lazy on line choice and is great uphill. After a few rides on it I then go back to my normal 650b hardtail and am always impressed with the sharpness and accuracy of the thinner wheels. So you need both 🙂

I’ve got their 650b plus wheels and although not light they are definitely not made of cheese. They roll forever and seem really tough.

I ran out of trail roughly in between the jump area and the main car park area. I think I did it all. I’ve been riding there for years and to be honest I was getting very bored of it bit this has made it worth while again. I make it the first part of my rise and then go up the hill infront of the golf course entrance then another loop behind there and it’s well over ten miles. Enough for me .

I bought my Airshot off here for £40 and I think it’s well made and should last. The Airshot guys are cool to and helped me with a part I needed for free.

I like the strada but it doesn’t have ant+ so then I need to buy a new heart rate strap. Getting costly then..

I’m only going into my local forest for just over an hour or so so battery shouldn’t be an issue. I just like to track my hr and such as I find it motivates me. I have a big android phone now but size wise it’s too big to carry in my fashionable bum bag !

I used one on a trip to Wales . A saloon car and the bikes on the rack. Solid as a solid thing. I think they are ok.

When I first saw the original Matrix in the cinema I wanted to slide under the seat and pop back up when it started again. I still love it now.

All day long the Whyte, colour coded hubs and fork decals and stem. I dislike the seat tube to top tube junction on the Orange and it isn’t as nicely finished in those pics as the Whyte.
