I couldn’t get my head round the Camino geometry. It suggests I want a large but the medium is bigger than most of my bikes.

I’ve ‘ridden’ one round the car park of the bike shop, and then tested that against an older Epic Evo. So, not that helpful really, however, for me, the Epic Evo was too low at the front for how long it felt reach-wise (size large); the medium Chisel FS was too short – felt like my knees were too close to the bars; the large Chisel FS felt OK, but heavy. It was the standard spec one not the Comp, so not really fair to say it’s a heavy bike when the Comp is meant to be sub 13kg.

I had similar happen on a pair of Bliss ARG Minimalist pads, however, the hole has never got bigger, and they still fit/work perfectly. Has the hole got worse since it happened?

This debate is interesting…I was fairly set on a Canyon Neuron CF8 with SLX, until I then noticed Canyon have 2 versions of the CF9 – one is the top spec, which at £4.4k is way out of my league, however, the CF9 AXS is £2.5k. The CF8 is £2.2k. Other than transmission, the CF9 seems to have the better spec fork (FIT vs Grip damper), but then it’s just SRAM vs Shimano on brakes etc. Such dilemmas (laughing emoji!)

I did this a while ago. I had a ton of 26″ tyres and tubes, plus bars and grips, saddles, old derailleurs etc. All gratefully received by the local bike recycling charity. In fact, the guy was most chuffed with the tubes and tyres as they were running out of what they had. :)

Then they put the price back up and my longing abated.

I can imagine lots of things but always ‘narrated’ and have a permanent inner monologue running. In addition, I have very vivid dreams that do contain stark, clear images, ‘video reels’, stories etc, so it must be a conscious vs unconscious thing for me.
