Sad news RIP

Yep did one about 15years ago mech engineering, t’innet was in its infancy so all done the old fashion way they were very good and understanding when I took a year out between year two and three due to splitting up with ex wife.

My understanding of pcp is that after the 3 to 4year period of paying that if at the point of the ballon payment you can hand the car back so long as you haven’t exceeded the agreed mileage or damaged the car if you want to or trade it in and start again or pay it off

Pcp because it gives me the flexibility to hand it back/trade it back in if it is rubbish or no longer meets our needs

Kia is a no no use to work for a Korean forklift company :( and as I said above you seam to have to spend a lot to get a good spec and wife is no ford fan as far as BMW 1 series goes what’s the service bills like as this is the one thing putting us off

Finely chop apricots and mix with butter slice a pocket in the chop from the side fill with butter/apricot mix and add bay leaf cook in oven till done to your liking if you cut the pocket at an angle you won’t loss much of the mix serve with sides of your liking personally I like wedges and a good salad.

Wet under tyre and foot,bit muddy and cold but sunny both Saturday and Sunday so felt had to go out both days :D

If you have a trek already how about a fuel ex 29er had mine about 4months and so far been a great bike with a great spec for the money(a bit less than 2grand)

Had one right pita this week company use to hire lots of forklifts from us but now only has two(all his other sites have closed down)anyway calls in a breakdown on the 6 jan colleuage attends orders part I return 3 days later fit said part truck still not working no one on site know nothing,connect up laptop to discover customer has been running truck since crimbo eve with coolant warning error on dash,tell customer he has damaged engine in truck and he’s got to pay for it(vw diesel ouch)cue customer ranting it’s all my fault and how he’s not paying etc etc sometimes you have to just walk away ether that or I was give him a slap :evil:

Getting p###ed,working as an apprentice engineer,chasing anything in a skirt,riding my muddy fox around the woods generally in that order although by the time I was twenty I was going round the world fixing big f### off Diesel engines :D

Been a spate of this recently in our local woods not collecting fallen trees/branches but felling trees and as the woods and surrounding land belongs to the MOD landmarc who manage the land are doing a lot more patrols backed up by the military police(who tend to clout first ask questions later)bumped into them more than a few times recently always point them in the right direction if we have seen anything after all no hills round here so the more trees the better :D

Had a similar problem with a friend I used to ride with not slow or fast but wanted to stop for a chin wag at every trail junction and not just a two minute quick chat more like 10/15min of him moaning about his o/h(she was/still is as mad as a box of frogs)used to drive me crazy so just started upping the tempo between stops and he just naturally feel by the wayside as a riding buddy and as a friend(for different reasons),now ride with a small group and one of us likes to go off like a bullet and me and the other go at our own speed, meet up again at gates etc everyone’s happy :D

Like ska-49 I live in Colchester which being north East Essex is a bit flatish but do have a large military training ground right on my door step no brideways or cheeky footpaths BUT shed load of trails in the woods just needs to be ridin at speed(and on a 29er IMHO)
Have lived else where(High Wycombe and near Oakham Rutland) but more and better work here in South East so that’s where I came back to.

When I was an apprentice if we were caught using a adjustable you were given a 10 count to start running then it was thrown at you as hard as possible!! There a right tool for every job so use it :evil:

Sorry unfitgeezer got to disagree she had skin cancer once so she know what’s what so needs to stop messing about and get down the doc’s,under a certain thickness moles removed job done beyond that gets a bit more messy

P.s had skin cancer 6+ years ago so know what iam talking about as for telling your wife only you can call that one you know them both we(hive)don’t

Had a dream about my brother (who I ride with)buying an oldish T4 and loading up with bikes and camping gear and me and him setting off to have a holiday in the alps woke up just as we were departing the ferry :(

Did see the beginning of the telling off that the women got she was ranting at the copper who was talking to her he raised his hand in a talk to the hand style to get her to stop then as I rode off there was a lot of stern face and a bit of finger wagging from him at her very satisfying
