As a Yaris hybrid owner it is without doubt the most boringly reliable car we have ever owned and because of that reason it is bloody brillant wife uses it during the week for work and her job means lots of cross town travel in 30/40mph limits fill it up once every two weeks (£25) had it a couple years now and the local Toyota dealer is trying to tempt us with a good trade in deal and to be fair we probably will

These question are normal grouped along with “how many days off sick in the last 3/5year” let’s face Iam not going to tell you the truth knowing full well that they can’t access my records without my permission and any employer that asked I wouldn’t be working for

Nerf gun (personal fav is the 50 cal style sniper rifle)even if you don’t hit them the darts make a high pitch whistle so scares the s##t out of them and if you do hit them they are rubber tipped foam so don’t do any lasting damage a few well placed shots and they soon get the message

This post is a bit spooky as today was my last day didn’t tell my employer until job offer in writing and new contract signed didn’t take it well so haven’t told them where I am going either my industry is renowned for slagging people off to their new employer made me work my month as well  mind you have been a bit sick recently seams to have coresponded with certain days on the tour :D

To be honest pretty sure myth busters have proved time and again that if you needed and hand time that cannon are not that difficult to build and a hand cannon is just a small scale version shouldn’t be to hard for anyone with a small amount of skill to produce a working blunderbusses it’s not going to win a war but would kill someone you didn’t like but here the big thing you are going to prison for a long time for building, owing or using it so you had better make sure it’s someone you really don’t like

Just built up a rigid hard tail single speed to use through the winter down here the sub soil is mainly clay so water doesn’t drain just more and more mud used a bunch of 2nd hand parts from my old 26er did this cause of the above and cause I can afford to also really NOT fussed what anyone on here thinks

Got a Toyota Yaris hybrid about a year ago in fact it’s just had its first service can’t fault it in fact it’s been boringly reliable only problem I’ve had with it is the fact that round town it’s a pedestrian killer they don’t look and they can’t hear it coming  total convert to the hybrid concept and will proberly go for a Auris or Prius next

Didn’t read like no more biking just stop being dicks and building jumps etc which is fair enough as for night riding can’t see how they would police that.

    Assuming they are your wheels

Assuming you have FREE access to machinery to grind/machine them down

Assuming you have the money to buy a new set IF it goes wrong

If the answer is yes to all of the above then why not go for it

P.s post your efforts especially if it all goes up in a ball of flames :D

I know where you are coming from op we did it slightly differently missus brought a cheap bike from tescos boy rode it for about 4mtns and it became a pile of #### solid tyres that slipped on normal Tarmac etc brakes that were made of cheese etc etc I kept VERY quite following birthday brought a Raleigh not mega bucks but quite a bit more than the rubbish from Tescos can’t keep the boy off it now (helps that I also got a trailgator for it and fitted hitch to my pub bike)now I can do a ride and unhitch him to ride under his own steam and hitch him back up when tired everyone’s a winner :D

As a forklift service engineer we as a company refuse point blank to service/fix forklifts I anyway near loading bays as they are death traps for people too much going on to be a safe place so not a place I would pick to lock up a bike but as far as the driver is concerned he knew he had hit that railing/ bike what a knobber
