I would only stick to the Blue and Red routes if your thinking of taking a tag-along, some of the switchbacks will probably be a little to tight to mange on the Black!

Owned my warrior since 2006, only had to replace the rear leaf springs in all that time, Ive done all the servicing my self, apart from the next one 54,000 miles is when all belts need replacing and from advice from the L200 owners club the bottom pulley needs replacing at this service as well.

Iam very much into my hill walking and for the last 8 years a pair of karrimor KSBs have served me very well ie about 8 years. I have infact last week bought another pair of KSB’s only because I have worn down the soles on my original pair.

Delamere has been really busy with groups of walkers, mostly families every weekend since Christmas, probably working off those extra pounds gained the last few weeks.

Nice and quiet during the week though.

Had mine a few weeks now, Ive only been back into cycling for around 9 months I bought a Cube Analogue Disc last April I enjoyed that until it got nicked recently. I researched a lot and got loads of advice and went for a 29er, I have noticed a massive difference in the gears I use ie I am always in a higher gear on my normal routes than I would be with my Cube. I havent done any single track yet but hope to later this week at Llandegla so will report back then, I also hope to do the Leeds-Liverpool canal 127miles in late Jan so will report on this thread when I done also.

I did notice it once ever so slightly with my Specialized Carve 29er with size 11 feet at very slow speed negotiating my garden path with flats, since I used spds then never.

At least them Scroates who have trashed your home that you have worked hard for, will be taken on a outward bound course and all that good stuff…they is only one winner in todays society and that is the underclass.

If you secure your home, then it means the chavs wont rob you and they wont get their canoeing and adventure trips.

Was I corect in reading that a gang member was awarded an OBE for turning his life around.

pha what about the 10000s of young people which manage a law abiding life without doing wrong… So you have to do wrong before right to be recognised and get an OBE…

I had recently moved onto our road by 2 weeks, however I came home drunk and marched up and down the street playing a reveille at 4am in the morning. Bedroom lights were flicked on up and down the road with neighbours wondering what the hell was going on then enter stage left my irritated girlfriend who then gives me a bollocking in full veiw of everyone.

I have plonked one in a fireplace, 5kw and less you dont need to line the chimney, my house was built in 1930 with a purpose built chimney for open fires. I also had a builder a couple of doors down who checked everything for me.

Simple weight recorder..its a free app you enter your weight each day and it shows you a handy graph to your goal weight, Iam finding it a good challenge each day to lose a little each more. Ive gone from 94.1kg down to 91.9kg in three weeks.

This is my girlfriends car, it was parked outside her works and some daft bint drove into the back of it. It was a write off. I used to work in Auto Body Repair and was suprised with the outcome. The fact that your car is only a year old robbo1234biking I think it will be a repair job.

My question is regarding the chimney. Can I assume if my brick lined victorian chimney is o.k. for my open fire, will it be o.k. to use with a woodburner without modification?

If the stove you intend to install is 5kw and below its ok, Iam sure Iam correct in thinking anything 7kw and over needs a lined chimney. My stove just has a 0.50m of flue pipe going up the existing chimney. You will need a register plate to seal the bottom of the chimney, its a blanking plate and makes sure the chimney can only draw the gases of the stove and not the air in the room as well.

see the FAQs here I found it a great site.

If I had that £400 and was looking for my first DSLR that would be my choice.

When I first started off it was with a Nikon D4O and I bought the book D40 for Dummies, it helped me start using functions onmy camera I would never had normally use.

they is one for the 3100

Just installed my stove today, costs are as follows stove £199, flue pipe 29.00, fire cement £7.80, wine £5.00. I used an existing flu from our old open fire. The cheapest quote I was given for installation was £700 for what I just did in a day.

I did seek advice of a guy in my road who I knew was a builder, I went round his house with a bottle of wine and said can I just have 5mins of your time. He then told me exactly what to do and lent me a jackhammer to expose my fireplace.

As a side note do these things actually work?
