if its the bar or helmet mounted lights i cant say, if its the torches 2 batteries in 2 batt charger can take a good few houes and the leds on the charger go from red to green when fully charged. for either torch or light set dont let them fully discharge, recharge them after each use.

Fuel will go up over time anyway, however im not worrying to much about any large increases in the next six months, Gordon might not be a rocket scientist but he aint so stupid as tp put 15p on a litre just before the election (but dont hold your breath after)

Rode Penmachno yesterday all very rideable with the odd bit of ice and snow and plenty of cold water! Im an hour east and its snowing here now and forcast to last all night same for penmachno with rain tommorow.

One thing, half way round loop 2 the trail now splits, and currently there are no signs. I went left – FAIL i think you need to go for the right fork.

Im with fivespot, theres lots of posts on here slagging off Llandegla and they must be right about it being such a bad place as its regularly packed to the rafters!

As many other posts have pointed out, the place is as good as you make it, ride it fast and your on a winner.

OK so some of its closed, so use your head and get out over the moores.

    rant ends 😆

get a twelve volt lead acid batt, 20 watt, 12v MR11 halogen bulb, switch from maplins, mount lamp and switch in suitably sized deoderant can and hey presto! excellent light used every winter 4 3 years. only stopped using it when got a set of DX torches last year. Cheap as chips to.

get somat cheap for the bars to use on fire roads and i used to get about 2.5 hours out of it

I've just been diagnosed with osteoperosis, and I've never been what you'd call an MTB god but I've just come back from scotland where i rode just about all the big stuff (bottled the slab though 8O) Its got to be a combination of being sensible and going with the idea that your gonna do it but most of all do it cos you enjoy it!!

it might well be cheaper to administer and if your on £150k I've no doubt youd be laughing but if your on £15k probably doesnt look like such a great idea! As for tracey emin the sooner shes on the other side of the channel and conning the french into buying her cr*p, sorry art the better!!
