i’m sure that i got dumped shortly after xmas one year because i bought my girlfriend a really crap toy doggy from Boots as a present. She was a fantastic girlfriend but i am really pants at buying good xmas presents. if i could only tell her it was seasonal dimensia that made me buy it things might have worked out differently
the great part of this forum is that the producers do interact with the punters. Nobody has mentioned james from Genesis yet.
i think the the moderators have got the balance just about right; although i think sam’s new bike should go back up (lovely bike but colour scheme not my preference). hyjack – did it have internal brake cable routing?
oh,oh, oh – i keep reminding mrs fg how i hired a helicopter and landed on the school playing fields where she teaches. flash – yes; cool – according to her year 11 pupils; and horrible for me as the pilot did a vertical 180 before landing and i get really bad motion sickness.
i have to admit that the one above is cooler though.
druid – the kona that you posted is the puppy (if you ignore the gehy reflectors and add a flouro zefel pump), but i always remember them in 20″ frames even though we are all 5’3″ riders !!!!!!!!
tiger – cheers for the heads up; only just found this thread.
when i had a series 3 truck cab some local chav tried to break in with a screwdriver and then broke the rear quarterlight on the drivers side. if the nob had done it on the passenger side then he would have got in.
i always parked that one in neutral on both the overdrive and the transferbox and even engaged the 4 wheel drive lever, just in case!
andrewh – i was considering selling my ’96 heihei with f80 forks, original xt groupset and mavic sunset wheelset. frame is 17″ buyer must collect from snow free gloucstershire
mrsflash – thank you for your comment regarding sleeping through the night. Little farmer goes to bed at 7pm and usually wakes at 11pm and 2.30am for feeds and he is 7 months old. Bad nights are wakes every 2 hours or less 😥
His bedroom temp varies between 22c and 17c but doesn’t seem to cause any suprise awakenings!
yes to oil fired rad and sleeping/gro bags.
he also seems calmer (and so do me and his mum) with a Jack Johnson cd playing softly in the background, too
rusty spanner – stargate was quite good; but the setting made it fantastic when there was a space shot and the screen melted into the night sky. Add in a plane coming in very low to land and it was almost surreal.
the close proximity of the railtrack ‘allows’ them to do that. 😉
when i enquired about a demo bike at that shop he told me that they only got them in his size because he was the ‘normal’ size.
i didn’t think i was exceptionally unusual at 5’7” ?
i only tend to carry 1 bike in my 90; with the front wheel off and the bike stood upright, the forks are clamped to a quick release attachment bolted to my cubby box. Then a rachett strap over the seat down to tie down eyes in the rear tub.
i have got a rear striplight in the centre of the rear headlining that the previous owner had installed.
you could try bolt on bits – their website is pants but call them to discuss your needs. They attend most land rover shows in the summer and have loads of lights on display.
SM – remember the wading depth is only 500mm officially 😕
have a look on APB trading website; they do some good overland equipment. It won’t be the cheapest but it will last.
i have had lots of kit from Mudstuff – the silblades are highly recommended.
hi GT,
yes we did work together. i have since got out of the male prostitution business, but i pressume business is stll good for a young cutie like you? 😆
1. why did the skeleton burp? Because he didn’t have the guts to fart!

5. dezb=top chap, never met, sent me an elvis mp3 file; and emsz, never met, but saying that she has a girlfriend and small boobs made me a happy, pervy git (sorry)
