I have tried a chromecast audio, but was disappointed with the sound quality, I was using iphone5 with Spotify premium. I guess the chromecast audio has a DAC in it so maybe that is not as good as an external dac?

The files from Spotify on extreme quality stream at 320 bits, so I was assuming then the job is to get the file to a quality DAC? I guess they are compressed, but the same applies if I downloaded FLAC files?

Neil Young has been turning out very good music since the mid sixties. No not all albums are great but many are and not just the early stuff.
I think the issue is that in many cases the artist changes the direction of output and this doesn’t appeal to the original fan base, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. In opera, look how few operas or classic composers output has survived.

Invest in something that you know about or is close to you. BTL House, classic car etc. Funds, shares etc are all a massive punt in a complex and rigged game.

Be careful. The Shimano wheels are good right up until you need to replace a spoke. They are expensive and need special tools to fix. Also the cone and cup bearings can be problematic to get exactly adjusted.

I was a huge fan of shimano deore brakes, one of the best value items i have bought. However had to replace my rear and bought the latest version. The hose needed to be cut and therefore bled. This was not posible without buying a specisl shimano bleed kit and faffing around with syringes, sure, you dont need to do this often but why change a brillant simple design to incorporate a non-beneficial complicated bleeding system. Not happy.

I’ve done this race and found it tough. Thing is, its not a normal cross race. Its a very specific event, my thoughts were that training for this event should centre around running up steps. Its no surprise that fell runners do well at this race….

I have used the Kenridge wine kits several times and they are high quality. I used spring water (tescos), and followed the simple instructions….the white wine kits are equal to £15 supermarket bottles IMO. Works out about £2 a bottle.

Different cars have different conditions for the auto regen, worth checking. On my bmw the fuel tank has to be more than half full for the regen to be triggered.
