Do you need DAB? I use the TuneIn app on my phone through the auxiliary plug. Works great and good sound quality

That’s just it, no-one trained him. He was just tasked with taking food to tables. As far as I can see it was free labour, and he was effective ( so he tells me anyway!)

With di2 or etap is the shifting under load better? Do you have to ease off? Reason I ask is that on my 105 I just cant get a clean upshift when climbing.

I don’t think Adam Yates gets enough credit. He seems to have quietly developed into a world class talent. Ok he lost some time yesterday but for the most part is able to stay with the main gc contenders.

I’d love my boys to be able to bike to school and they are always asking if they can. Not letting them cycle up Pebble Hill (surrey boys will know it) though as I’m not even keen to cycle up that road myself to be fair. Not due its gradient but speed and quantity of cars and lorries.

I commute up and down pebble hill and the dangerous traffic is making me consider throwing the towel in with commuting. I would not want to see my son on a bike on that route!

My son went to a private school, there was no facilities to lock up bikes and no one cycled in. I lived in Netherlands for a while and I guess around 95% of kids cycled in, but easy to do when it’s flat and they have great cycle paths.

Just got back from cycling holiday in Spain. Took my debit card to withdraw cash for coffees and beers, every ATM charged 3%. Might be better to buy Euros in U.K. And then use credit card, although certainly in Spain they are not quite used to paying for a round by waving ones contactless card in the general direction of the till, so hard cash is required.

I race cars and what I can see made things so much worse was that the car stationary on the track must of been in gear or the guy was on th brakes, if not, energy would have been dissipated into the second car causing it to move and therefore less damage to the moving car.

Donington is a terrible track if it’s raining, the water actually runs on to the track and the surface is very slippery which is why stationary car had spun and was stalled.

So sad, heard him talk at derby mercury club. An unassuming modest man who could tip up to a club ’10’ and then bang out mile after mile on ultra distance races. A special talent, will be remembered…..

No doubt about his talent, but I really think he needs to filter his output, he records so much and then just releases it all, so you have to wade through so much to get to the good stuff. I prefer his stuff with the cardinals, fav Track is let it ride. Saw him live and tbh it was but dull, he said nothing to the audience all night!

Had similar argument with direct line. The problem is that although you can get the car repaired it is forever classed as a cat d car so the resale value is affected. Direct line told me that they would sell me the car back fir 10% of its market value which was too much.

Went to Halfords recently in an emergency for a chain. Guy says it will be £40, I said ok but that’s really expensive, he then said Halfords will price match the lowest price on the internet from any business. Got my phone out and dialled up chain reaction and walked out with said chain for about £15. Didn’t know they did this!

Maplin do a cheap flat speaker cable, I’ve used it in my system and I like it.

I have a blue touring 335d, very quick and you can throw a bike and lots of stuff in the back. Highly recommended.

I wanted a USB chargeable light for a 1.5 each way hour commute. Been messing around with Chinese lights for years, but now wanted something cableless and well built. Bought a niterider 950 which so far has been up to the job.

Shattered my patellar in January and have same problem with a lot of muscle wastage on one leg. Now just back on bike (thank God). My solution is to have a power meter which measures each legs input so when I ride I can make sure that the weak leg is putting equivivlent power to the normal leg. Been using a wattbike in the gym and now aiming to buy a quarq meter for my road bike.

Programme bears out my experience when we waited over 40 mins for an ambo after guy had bad bike crash and amongst other issues his sunglasses shattered and went in his eye, we thought he’d lost it….my advice to anyone round here is go and get your car and drive them to hospital it will be quicker….

I have recruited sales reps up to sales director level. These days you would expect to see on a Cv examples where you have exceeded expectations and include values and why you were so good. I think sales skills can be regarded as non sector specific outside areas like software and other highly technical areas. Also some sales jobs are described as business development so check those. Avoid at all costs roles where there is a low salary and high ‘ OTE’ bonus. Finally my advice is to sell products in a growing market not shrinking and where your product has a distinct advantage.
